City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Having read the PL statement it’s pathetic. It ranks with some of the worst responses from guilty parties in recent times. Embarrassing for the supposed regulators of the best league in the world.

Brilliant summary, explains a great deal and shows up the PL for what they are

Three consecutive innings defeats. Can’t recall that happening before in all the 65 years I’ve been following the county side. The “transition” period excuse is wearing thin. Maybe a few seasons in 2nd tier will bring on the youngsters but the senior players bar Jennings have let the team down

    Happy Birthday Roy Harper

Stormcock probably my favourite album. At the time he used to go around wearing a wizard’s cloak, he was seen wearing it whilst driving a pink Rolls down Piccadilly. Stalled at the lights, couldn’t get it started again so got out, kicked it and strolled off.

For balance The Morning Star doesn't mention money, ownership or charges in it's article just basically says City are the best and no reason why they can't make it 5. Yes I did say balance and Morning Star in the same sentence which is a rarity in itself but credit where it's due.

On This Day 26th April 1969: Manchester City FA Cup Champions:

Went with my Dad and I was (legally) old enough to drink. What a day, brilliant to be able enjoy the whole experience. Hadn’t appreciated that the cost of getting there was 2x the cost of the entrance Great memories.

    Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

An old mate of mine (Villa fan) driving home after his sides hammering got to the NEC just after half five. Dogs leaving Crufts going berserk. Was told there was a terrible whining noise only dogs can hear coming down the motorway from the North West of England!

One of many challenges by Eliot in the match. Both feet off the ground, no control, reckless etc. Just putting a perspective on the Doku fuss
