Puma have released this quality 90s throwback kit as a one off for Dortmund, I wonder if we’ll get something similar

    United Thread 2015/16

I've been thinking about this option for a number of players and wondering why it is used so infrequently where players want to leave. Why couldn't the buying club (informally) agree to reimburse the player who buys out his remaining contract, thereby paying just a small amount instead of a full...

    TV Series

Second this, watched it on the Etihad flight back from Abu Dhabi and it was excellent. The quality of photography you'd expect from HBO coupled with some really great investigative journalism (especially in the last episode!). Now firmly on my 'presents to give' list.

    Gillingham v Manchester City 1999

Seeing the picture City just posted on Facebook makes me wonder if we could be getting a 99 kit? I reckon Nike could do a good job on that one

Newcastle Vs City Post Match Thread

    Having read through FIFA's guidelines on offsides (<a class="postlink" href="http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/worldfootball/clubfootball/01/37/04/27/interpretation_law11_en.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/worldfo ... w11_en.pdf</a>), it seems...

Armani acquitted of all charges (update p21)

Re: Armani - Sierra Leone (merged) 'Integrity, sanity and discipline'? Best of luck Armani, God knows what corruption you're up against. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18058967" onclick="window.open(this.href);return...

    New Nike Kit 13/14? (Merged)

Don't know if this has been mentioned already but at the bottom of the page on the OS is the following spiel: Interesting that they say the away will be red/black stripes, though given that they also say we could get 'Balotelli 45' I'm thinking it's been carried over from the 11-12 away kit...

Pellegrini is the new manager (Malaga Newspaper reports)

Re: Martin Samuel Debate I like the guy and think he's a great journo, but this is poor. It's hardly a debate if your opponent can't answer back is it? And I really don't think he's dealt with the issue that Pellegrini didn't blow £200m but did pretty well against a team who have a player...

    New Nike Kit 13/14? (Merged)

While the guy's info may be correct about the colour of printing, the shirts he's linked to are obviously photoshop fan mock-ups. But as I say, what he says about the printing on the kits being black (home), gold (away) and navy (3rd) may well be true.

Sheikhs shake world game with plan for Dream Football League

Hold your horses fellas, this is a hoax which the Times and Telegraph have fallen for hook, line and sinker. It was created by Les Cahiers du Football in France. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.cahiersdufootball.net/article.php?id=4812" onclick="window.open(this.href);return...

    New Nike Kit 13/14? (Merged)

In terms of fashion houses getting involved with football kits, I know D&G have an agreement with AC Milan and have been designing their kits for the last few seasons, who knows, maybe city could get a local designer to team up with Nike and do something a bit different with the kits. I would...
