    Liverpool (A) - Sun 1st Dec, 16:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Slot has made them a much more balanced team. They're not as gung ho as they were under Klopp but they're much more astute and controlled. We've cut our work cut out on Sunday for sure.

    31 | Ederson - 2024/25

Needs dropping along with Gvardiol. Can't be allowed to get away with that level of performance in important games.

Exactly my point. He must have known those images would be splashed around the world.

So why the mock manic depressive mode when still 2 goals up at home with 12 minutes to go ? He should be exuding confidence in his players and encouraging them. It was certainly a weird look and offered nothing to the players presumably looking to him for "something" in that moment.

I'm not turning on the manager - instead I'm looking to him to lead, motivate, reshape the team in the last 10 minutes and alter the tactics to secure the win - not look like he's ready to jump off the nearest railway bridge.

At the end of the day the buck stops with the manager. Always has and always will. No club can have a complete turnover of playing staff in the manner you've suggested. Pep is the highest paid manager in the world but when Feyenoord scored their 1st goal tonight, his reaction was pathetic.

Ake will have to start and hopefully see the game through. There's no way Gvardiol can start after tonight and Spurs.

If you were a DOF and you see the manager staring, head down at the ground for nearly a minute when his team is leading 3-1 and they need some guidance and inspiration to see them over the line after FIVE consecutive losses, you may think the manager isn't doing his job properly.

I'm sure the players in the dressing room expect Pep to make some strong decisions. Starting with dropping both Ederson and Gvardiol. Players need to see the manager being decisive so if Pep tolerates regularly under performing players any longer then we've no chance of coming out of this mire...

ffs Feyenoord wouldn't beat Spurs under 18s. That was not better than Spurs.

Not certain it will be in Pep's hands by the summer if this shit show continues. Viana might recommend he goes.

Ederson needs benching - he seriously needs a massive kick up the arse.
