The club are clearly involved in all of this. There’s too many tickets ending up with away fans, on ticket sites and part of corporate packages.

This is where we need the supporters club or city matters to step up and question the club on how tickets are being distributed.

I agree. It’s helping to kill the atmosphere for a lot of clubs as well. Ordinary fans are being priced out and replaced with people like this. I’ve seen quite a few videos like this at West Ham. Seems like West Ham fans get just as annoyed as us.

It’s funny seeing some of the comments on Facebook for example from people who didn’t understand the display. If you don’t know the 192 bus or the Mcvities factory you aren’t a true city fan ;)

I didn’t say ‘I don’t think anyone has a problem with tourists’ I said I don’t think anyone has a problem with a tourist who is a genuine city fan. That’s me generalising and obviously there probably are city fans who don’t like it.

I don’t think anyone has a problem with a tourist who supports the club or gets behind the team. I think the issue is with literal away fans or in last nights case United and Chelsea fans who actively mock our club, when our own fans can’t get tickets.

It’s the club who are touting tickets and giving them to ticket agencies to sell at a large profit. It’s entirely on them for helping to make the atmosphere worse. Long standing blues can’t get tickets, but influencers that openly mock our club can.

The club are doing everything they can to kill the atmosphere and I think at some point there could be serious trouble with the amount of basically away fans in the home end. It’s becoming a joke. Long standing fans can’t get tickets now, yet United, Chelsea and others can.

to be honest I felt worse when we got knocked out by Hamburg… winning the treble has changed how I view losing now.

Ssl3 is clearly the place to be for atmosphere. It’s consistently been the loudest part of the ground for a while now.

Not too bad. We won the treble last year and it’s not going to get much better than that. I didn’t expect us to win the champions league two years in a row - it’s not realistic either. Onwards and upwards for the rest of the season and why not feel positive after the last few years we’ve had!

He didn’t struggle to influence the first game though. As I said he scored arguably the most important goal - that’s a huge influence.

I thought he played well. Made a big difference on the left.
