    Raheem Sterling - Done - See main forum

    That's not good news though if it means Otamendi being bought instead (which seems to be the case if reports are to be believed). He's been brilliant for Valencia this season and is probably one of the best CB's in Europe at the moment.

    Discussion: Potential Pellegrini Replacements {merged}

    So would I, I just don't expect it to be Klopp (or Pep for that matter) taking over.

    Discussion: Potential Pellegrini Replacements {merged}

    That's a lot of presuming though, if Klopp has fallen out of the running then most of the above doesn't apply.

    Lionel Messi | Joins Inter Miami (pg4111)

    With the Spanish release clauses, if met doesn't tax have to be paid on top? Meaning an considerable amount more on top of the supposed €250m release fee. Bayern got away without having to pay it for Martinez by agreeing a fee slightly below his release clause if I remember correctly.

    How about Vidal instead? Would be a perfect replacement. Thing with Pogba as well is that I can't see him sticking at one club for long and will end up moving on every few years.

    Would assume it's Barkley but either way, is this the player United have been talking to as well? Think it'll take big big bucks for them to contemplate selling, would certainly surpass Shaw's fee (that is of course it is indeed Barkley). Will eventually be a world beater but can't help but...

    And so it begins...

    I think Moura could potentially be brilliant within a few years with the right coach, got the pace, skill and build for it. On the topic of wingers, is there any glimmer of hope for Di Maria? Seems very unlikely but I think he's brilliant plus adaptable with being able to play in a midfield...

    William Carvalho

    Would be odd, given that he isn't anything like Alonso to be honest. Very much a sit in front of the defence and break up play then give to someone else player, you'll rarely see him spraying balls around like Alonso and dictating play. Always thought Illarramendi would be that player. He's what...

    United thread 2013/14 (continued)

    Nice post, very informative as per usual. I'm curious to hear what you think will happen to Moyes? Do you think he'll get these two years a majority seem to think he's guaranteed? Struggle to see it myself as I can't see the Glazers being all sentimental and allowing him to continue to do the...

    Makes sense all around really, struggle to see them spending £40m on him though. Not to mention it's not really a prioritised need given how shit their CM and LB positions are.

    Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Smalling and Jones all potentially leaving, that's a lot of places to fill without even touching the midfield! Wouldn't be surprised about Smalling, looks more uncomfortable on the ball than Lescott half the time! I can't see them selling Jones, Evans will probably be...

    What gives you that idea? Wouldn't surprise me if Cleverley did as he's wank, can't see them selling Duncan though.
