Extra shooting practice for everyone!! Joking aside, that was an entertaining 0-0, on any other day, Haaland & Sav both score & we come away with a win. Semenyo will definitely add the much needed physical presence that Haaland needs in games like this, & he can finish with more efficiency than...

January can’t come quick enough, Semenyo will get thrown straight in if Doku is still injured. We’re missing O'Reilly’s partnership with Doku, Forest congested the middle & made it really difficult, thankfully we took our chances today!

Crystal Palace (A) I PL I Post Match Thread

Great defending, & ( hardly) no bozo moments, it was either a slight tactical shift from Pep in the 2nd half or a bollocking at half time that tightened up the midfield ( did Foden move more central?) and Savinho with a devastating break for the 3rd.

Re: knee slides, atleast the groundskeepers will be happy! I will expect the “Klinsmann” to be Resurrected, & arse sliding to circumnavigate the new rulings! Haaland promised Shearer to his signature celebration v Sunderland if he scored, I wonder if he will do the Lineaker arse drag as well?

Real Madrid (A) | CL | Post Match Thread

Feared the worst when we went behind, but it spurred the team on, Gvardiol seems to have remembered how great he is on corners in the last few weeks, & is causing havoc in the box. Rudiger was his usual dirty fouling self, & was rightly penalised. I just wish it’d been more emphatic!

Will we win the league this season?

That’s a question to ask after this weekend. A good win with a clean sheet, & an Arsenal loss, will point the way. But first, Pep needs to sort out his subs, Savinho over Marmoush? that’s a head scratcher. Reijnders & Bernardo on at the same time when we’re getting over run in the middle. Stones...

Wow, Doku was scintillating tonight! one of his best games for City, tore Liverpool to shreds, & now that he’s added end product to his game this season, he’s unplayable at times. That goal was the cherry on top & richly deserved

Time for Haaland to introduce some variation in his pens, down the middle, etc. When the pressure is on to go 1-0 up Haaland doesn’t do too well

    Liverpool (H) - Sun 9th Nov, 16:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I like the line up, but I wouldn’t have been too bothered if Savinho had started, giving us a 2 pronged attack, then bring Cherki on in 2nd half, but he’s earned it.

Brentford (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Apart from the lack of cutting edge in the 2nd half, we look far more solid in defence, Brentford hardly had a sniff. No bozo moments from Nunes, who had a decent game, as did Dias, Gvardiol & O’Rielly. Thought Savinho was average, & we missed that link up play down the left between Doku &...

Brentford (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

should’ve had a 2nd while we were on top, they were always going to throw the proverbial kitchen sink at us 2nd half. Lacked the pace & incision of Doku down the left, but a win is a win.
