They've been the better side since the goal, which is hilarious

Everyone gets to play Wolves twice, to be fair

    Premier League Games | 6/7/8 December '25

At a purely fundamental level (control of the football, passing, decision making etc.) this is one of the worst 22 minutes of Premier League football I've ever seen from Wolves. Utterly hopeless every time they get possession

Reminiscent of a Negredo goal from 13-14, sumptuous goal

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

But that wasn’t high-risk for Cherki. He can play a rabona cross like that with his eyes closed

    24 | Joško Gvardiol - 2025/26

The overall standard of our delivery from corners was noticeably better today, too. Reijnders delivered a great one to the back post that no one attacked for some reason (probably because Haaland and Joško were off the field by then)

    3 | Ruben Dias - 2025/26

Surprised there are no comments in this thread, given an all-round excellent performance and an absolute worldy for the opener Yes he did give the ball away terribly for that 1-on-1 chance, but his actual defending (positioning, anticipation, aggression, organization) was exemplary today

    27 | Matheus Nunes - 2025/26

He covers so much ground on that side of the field. That four of Nunes, Bernardo, Nico G and Nico O'R get through so much work across the middle third of then pitch

    20 | Bernardo Silva - 2025/26

I can't tell whether we're good when he's good, or he's good when we're good. But I'm leaning towards the former. And he was very good indeed this afternoon

    10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

    It’s a barm

    25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

Huge save. Also loved him losing his shit when that Xhaka effort came back off the post (and fuck me did he hit that hard, even in the slo-mo it was a rocket)

    14 | Nico Gonzalez - 2025/26

    He’s so fucking good, guys

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

Foden and Cherki will get the plaudits but that was another really strong performance from Doku. Very unlucky with that shot off the post and ran his bollocks off for the whole game One criticism though: that Cherki ball across the six yard box early doors was a tap-in if just attacks the back...

    7 | Omar Marmoush - 2025/26

That was my exact takeaway. His movement was great (and was actually been picked out by our midfield!), he just looked rusty

I thought the defensive spine (Donna, Dias, Gvardiol and Nico G) were all outstanding today against a confident, physical side

I remember the summer we signed Phillips, Brazilian Gus on here was appalled and said we should be all over Danilo (now at Forest) and Kamara (now at Villa) He may have been right about one of those things

    Premier League Games | 2/3/4 December '25

Agreed. But on the off chance they don’t, just get Souček and Wilson in the mixer and put the ball in the box lads

A Dalot-Heaven-Shaw back three is fucking wild. Two full backs and a kid who has played a handful of professional games

    33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

Would be quite the trick to help rescue last season as a revelation at LB, then rejuvenate our season this time out from central midfield Would love to see it!

Well with Gvardiol right now the passes are largely going to the opposition, so not sure how this would be a downgrade
