Do you celebrate a goal immediately or wait incase VAR rules it out?

You misinterpreted my post AHT. I love Manchester City and welcome most of the things that have changed since the darker days at Maine Rd. I started going in the last Millennium when a draw was something to celebrate, not because City were any good, just for the craic which was awesome. I don't...

Do you celebrate a goal immediately or wait incase VAR rules it out?

Stopped going when VAR started so not fussed anymore. Without VAR there is still post match banter about if, what, maybe if etc. Unfortunately my dodgy ticker can't stand waiting 5 minutes to celebrate a goal and that has killed it for me. I started watching City because they were sh1t and the...

    Diabetes

After 3 months following the spirit of the diet rather than blind observance my HbA1c is down to 52. Fortunately the diet is one of those that is relatively easy to continue forever so hopefully will get to see a few more titles yet!

    Diabetes

Always read this thread with interest as it’s good to see what helps different people. I have been T2 for about 3 years now, started with HbA1c of 145 which with Metformin , different low carb diet and exercise quickly reduced to 70 odd. Unfortunately it has stayed around that level even with 3...

    In the presence of genius.

Was once fortunate to have lunch with a NASA Astronaut called Scott Parazynski. I don't think he realised one bit just how awesome his achievements were. Its hard to explain the feeling that he just had an aura about him. Not as good as meeting Tony Book but not far off!

    Las Vegas

Not a gambler but the Mrs wanted to see Celine Dion. Spent 5 days there, stayed in the Bellagio which was quite elegant. Would recommend the helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon and a visit to Fremont St at night. Everything is over the top but unique. Wouldnt go back but am so glad we went once.

    Var debate 2019/20

It's shite, but it's saving me a small fortune. Said last year that my ticker couldn't stand waiting 3 minutes to celebrate a goal and I was finished. So far I'm about 500 quid up. Let's see what happens next season?

    Veganism

Fruit, sugars and carbohydrates are killers for Diabetics. Fortunately I was bred with incisors for shredding flesh and molars to grind it. With a bit of luck I will live to see my grandkids get married?

If you're travelling to the USA do it via Philadelphia

Detroit for us was an absolute nightmare. Xmas eve, travelling with 2 kids and in laws. Me and the mrs were dragged into secondary for 45 mins, not a single question asked, passports returned followed by a sprint to make the last connection to Orlando. Fuckin shithole, never again. Philly was...

    Tenuous links to famous people

Late 70's sat in the future dad -in -laws car when he tried to convince Dave Seaman that he wouldn't make it as a footballer and should sign professional forms with Yorkshire C.C.C. ( Some City fans might say he wasn't wrong....)
