Anyone know why this is so far from sold out? I know it's getting close to Christmas but I thought a 3pm Saturday against an old rival would've piqued a lot more interest.

Agree 100%, but I think it's a country-wide problem with architecture in this country. Developers just get stuck on vanilla. My wife's Dutch and some of the buildings you see there, even on the side of the motorway are stunning.

Plan is for a U shaped area of safe standing at the back and sides and normal seating for the rest.

It looks like tickets are going up on the site then getting sold. No weird algorithm things, just a near sell out nearly selling out. Hopefully this means no blue empty seats... Or am I being naive?

Two lines go underground - from Manors to St James and from Jesmond to the station. I think it goes underground on the Gateshead side for a bit but I never go there. Basically where an overground line would cause too much disruption. Arguably what Manchester should've done in the first place.

You could ask the crane driver if you can go up there and then land the drone on the pitch. ;P

I gave up my season ticket there in 2013 so it's a hazy memory. We were certainly close to the away fans but I don't remember them having any of the actual block, just a black partition covering several columns of seats.

I wonder when the new seats will be available from? I imagine there'll be a time when it's "finished" but yet to be signed off, but they probably need to know before they do the ridiculous "let's sell all the games at the same time and throw people with 1000s of loyalty points into the same...

SWP for me. Always a joy to watch. He used his low centre of gravity like a Weeble and made sudden turns that would make the defender look like a mug. I also remember him scoring a goal on the volley where he jumped up to (his) head height to meet the ball. Wish I could remember who it was...

As I commented on one of Colin's videos, even if they're ahead of schedule, this is Manchester and they should be pressing on as quickly as they can. You can't take the weather for granted.

I can still moan about having >5000 loyalty points but being placed randomly in an online queue along with people who don't even know who the Goat is. I think this selling all the matches at the start of the season and not allowing non-ST holders to resell is a big factor in the blue empty seats.
