Match Thread | Man City vs. Arsenal (22/09/24)

It’s not like they’re defending well. We are getting plenty of shots on target. One will go in.

    Champions League Draw - 29th August '24 | Opponents (pg69) | Fixtures (pg128)

PSG get City, Bayern, Atletico and Arsenal. Seems tough.

Avoided Real/Bayern is nice. Sporting and Juve away are presumably tough from them pots.

Match Thread | Man City vs. Ipswich Town (24/08/24)

Considering how dominant we are I feel like I’ve barely seen Bernardo touch the ball.

    FPL - Fantasy Premier League - 2024/25

This is why I don't have City players in FPL. If they do bad and I have them in FPL it's a double whammy to my mood. As such I've gone big on Liverpool & Arsenal to hopefully jinx them - however I've ended up with 60 points from my 6 players so far.

Bobb injured in training | Fractured leg confirmed (p 5)

Fracture of the fibula with reported non-contact means he probably rolled his ankle, at this site the distal fibula and tibia (lateral/medial malleoli) overlap the talus, so rolling it can cause the talus to push into these structures and fracture them.

What disease(s) are you afraid of the most?

Fournier's gangrene as a bloke doesn't seem much fun.

Bobb injured in training | Fractured leg confirmed (p 5)

Then you were technically told incorrectly for the leg, but correctly for the wrist. Cracked/broken aren't medical terms, fracture encompasses both - but I imagine patients often may just get told the bone is "broken" as that is a more well understood lay term, to avoid this fracture confusion...

Bobb injured in training | Fractured leg confirmed (p 5)

Nope. Yep. To clear up some confusion over the break vs fracture talk on this thread: They're the same thing. If your femur is in half, it's fractured. If you have a non-displaced tiny hairline crack, it's fractured. If your bone is in 10 pieces, it's fractured. So that term tells us nothing...

Imagine what it will be like if we lose.

Alvarez done deal - £82m to Atletico

I like him and suspect he’ll do well in Spain, but that price for a back up player who hasn’t really nailed down a particular position for us, is pretty hard to turn down. The squad does feel a little thin/inexperienced at this stage, will be interesting to see if we do further business or...

The most I’ve seen us try and find that through ball to Haaland. No one has actually made it mind.

They don’t usually give those to be fair. But it clearly would be a penalty if he hadn’t got his shot away.

To be fair he probably thought KDB was doing the job of two men the number of times he called Grealish KDB.

Match Thread | Man City vs. Chelsea FA Cup (20/04/24)

Currently at work so unable to watch the game, had a Quick Look at the match day thread on here a few times and all I read was “why is Bernardo still on”. So of course no surprise to see my phone to alert me with a Bernardo goal.

Bellingham spent more time on the floor than upright over these two matches.
