He's gotten 2 red cards in the 2 years he's been at Chelsea, and both of them have been in his last 5 games at the club. He's a petulant player, he's gotten an unbelievable amount of yellow cards for arguing with refs, but he isn't really a player that get constant suspensions. At least he...

I don't think this has been reported yet, but my guess is he'll be back after the international break.

Sunday league level is mad. He's averaging about 15 league goals in the prem per season and that's without taking a single penalty. This Woltemade bloke from Stuttgart just went for £70m on the back of 6 months of decent form in the German league.

They are so incredibly boring to watch. Even in games where they score loads of goals, they are so boring. If it brings trophies, fans usually tolerate this brand of sleep inducing football, but if it doesn't bring any real success, what are the fans suffering for?

He will provide cover for now, and likely be sent on loan again. It's kind of brutal for Guiu though, as Chelsea's needs now take precedent over his development. I do prefer this solution though, to signing a new striker (rumoured linked with the Sporting striker) or forcing Jackson back against...

So you're saying something dodgy is happening with the deal, and you're refusing to explain what you think is dodgy about it. Must be something in the waters at Bluemoon. Oh well. Pleasure talking to you I guess.

Yes but we won't always be able to sell well. We've done good this summer, and our net spend is close to 0 but what about when we struggle to shift them in the next window or the window after that. The system basically relies on sales, and being able to shift players on for good fees.

It's not surprising. We've signed over 50 players in the last 3 years, so we're averaging about 15-20 signings per year the last 3 years. We've also sold/let go of about 45 players the last 3 years. It's a massive player trading machine. Some of these guys will never see the light of day at...

I'm thinking if Maresca can get refine his qualities a bit and work on his weaknesses, we might have a decent squad player on our hands. I don't see him as a significant signing or a player I'm excited to watch. I've been opposed to this transfer all summer lol. He's only just turned 21...

You think he's crap? Fair enough. I don't particularly rate him either, but I would argue he is better than Gittens and we paid over £50m for that guy.

Again, you're going to have to explain what you think is dodgy about this deal?

Yeah they poached him. He's proper good as well, was the crown jewel of the academy, certainly for his age group.

It is, but it seems to me you don't have any thoughts about this at all. Refusing to explain what you find strange about this is extremely odd, especially after I've been courteous enough to engage with you in good faith. Anyway, have a good evening sir.

    Chelsea Thread | 2025/26

That's a cop out lol. All you're doing is implying something dodgy is happening without bothering to explain your thoughts, then you're for some reason pretending I'm asking you to engage in a 10hr debate with me. Oh well. It's up to you.

I mean, I've given you the context. It's not 1 appearance. He played 18 times for Chelsea, 15 times for Juve and 5 times for Portugal. He played nearly 40 games last season. Tell me what you think is strange about this?

    Chelsea Thread | 2025/26

Why? What is wrong with this deal? Signed for cheap as cover for LB, but after he was called to the Portuguese NT (where he played CB) he returned and said he didn't see himself as anything other than a CB and did not want to continue playing LB (where he had almost exclusively played for us...

I would argue in your specific examples, 115 charges are tad bit more newsworthy than a single charge, especially one Chelsea have already admitted to, while City are fighting tooth and nail against the charges against them. But even still, every fanbase claims they are the most hard done by...

I think this is debatable to be perfectly honest with you. All fanbases think they have it the hardest.
