Will we win the league this season?

If we can keep key players fit, it is a possibility. But I m not Nostradamus.

Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

I think the release clause for Semenyo must only work if he plays every game for Bournemouth until the clause expires. Let us hope he stays fit today and midweek.

Injuries 2025/26 | Doku ruled out for three weeks (p46)

I had it a few years ago. The GP advised be to spend ten minutes, three times a day, rolling my foot over a can of baked beans or a tennis ball. It did the trick. Edit: the Baked Bean can shouldn’t be open…..

    FA Cup | Round 3 | Exeter H | Sat 10 Jan 15:00

Whatever, this is a challenging month for City, some tricky Premier League and Carabao Cup games, two Champions League fixtures and home to Exeter City in the FA Cup. Which ones will we lose?

Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

I don’t believe it until it happens.

Sunderland (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

We re halfway through the season. We started badly, but still in second place. With Rodri fit and hopefully others stay fit, I am feeling far more confident than this time last year. That said, I saw the game against Bury which all-but condemned us to the third tier.

Sunderland PL (A) | Man of the Match

Not the man of the match, but Nathan Ake looked good. I think it would be a mistake to let him go in January. It only needs Dias or Gvardiol to get a suspension or injury.

Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

Imagine Semenyo gets injured at the weekend. Normally a player with agreement to sign for another club is left out of the squad. Bournemouth have been poor of late but have a decent squad and a very good coach, so I don’t see why it is important to risk Semenyo this weekend, they are comfortably...

Enzo Maresca "high among candidates" to replace Guardiola if he leaves next summer

Since Pep joined City, Chelsea have gained and lost 8 head coaches, and destroyed some of their careers. Idiot owners.

Jack Grealish - Everton on loan

The early season he seemed to be doing well, now, not much is being said about him.

Marc Guehi | Leading target for City (p28)

We need defensive cover in case Gvardiol or Dias gets injured or suspended. We need to keep Ake at least until the end of the season

With apologies to Accrington Stanley: Man United who are they?

Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

I’m not convinced he is an upgrade of those we already have. For sure he is a good player, but how will he get into the City system?

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Nothing to see here, yet. Move on

    Vinicius Jnr

No way, he is over-rated. Mind you, not convinced about Semenyo either

Will we win the league this season?

It is in our hands. If we win every game we are champions again.

    Sunderland (A) - Thu 1st Jan, 20:00 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

I hate the scheduling, Sky are dictating football. In any case, if we win all our remaining games, we are Champions.

Antoine Semenyo | Prefers to join City - Ornstein (p73)

He looks good in mid-table side, but not sure he is an upgrade on what we already have tbh.
