I mean Chelsea had better chances than we did. The xg supports that

    Prime Aguero or present Haaland

I remember aguero missing an absolute sitter against Chelsea. He then scored a hat trick

    Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

You’re only as good as your players. We have a good starting eleven but we lack depth. Besides it’s completely unrealistic to win it every year. Ferguson never did that for example.

    Prime Aguero or present Haaland

But that team wouldn’t be as fluid with haaland in it. He is clunky at best in possession. So swings and roundabouts. Someone like Kane would break all records in that team though as he can do it all

    Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

Rightly or wrongly he just doesn’t trust the fringe players and this has led to the overplaying of the others. All starts with recruitment

    Prime Aguero or present Haaland

Genuinely think I strike a cleaner ball than haaland. Haaland the better athlete aguero the better footballer. Aguero every time for me

Terrible from city. Neto should have scored palmer should have scored. Really poor. Played a very poor game today. Flat very flat on and off the pitch

Will we win the league this season?

It’s gone now I fear. Especially given the away fixtures to come

Shame Sanchez and tosim aren’t starting. Both got huge errors in them

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

Haaland is no doubt a brilliant striker but his technique is pretty average. He often doesn’t hit a ball cleanly and he misses chances like the one at Sunderland because of this imo

    Chelsea (H) - Sun 4th Jan, 17:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Haha my apologies! Meant to say they played Tuesday! That is a big advantage! I agree a manager bounce can be over stated but the fact Chelsea has removed a manager who clearly has lost the players and fell out with the board will only galvanise them imo. Could be wrong but let’s see. I’m...

    Chelsea (H) - Sun 4th Jan, 17:30 | PL | Pre-Match Thread

Gonna be tough this one for a plethora of reasons. Firstly Chelsea with new manager bounce. Secondly the fact we played tonight and they played Tuesday means they will be fresher. Thirdly we will likely be 7 points off Arsenal come kick so the pressure will be on. On the plus side caciedo is...

Sunderland (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Far play to Sunderland. Thought they were excellent. A team and a set of supporters together as one fighting for everything. Can't help but admire that. On another day we probably win that. Haaland should have scored and so should savinho. It's frustrating given the title race but it wasn't a...
