    Better Liverpool than Spurs?

Tottenham - nice to see a team win it who hasn't before, and anybody winning it is preferable to Liverpool. It would though probably end any small hope I had of us ever signing Kane.

    Stuart Pearce

Those games he took over from Keegan in his first season were amongst my favourite as a City fan, I was very young and it was the first time I'd ever seen us look like achieving something. Then I'd convinced myself we were gonna win the FA Cup in 05/06...should have known better. In 05/06 we...

    Not just beaten

Just think we need to move on from it. It was a great day but there's no need to bring it up every year. That song about "40,000 empty seats, it's only 4-1" etc needs to stop.

    Not just beaten

I wonder if they'll be a thread like this on a Spurs forum in 9 years time...

    Worst Goalkeeper

Fortunate really that I haven't really seen any 'bad' keepers in my time - first keeper I can remember clearly was David James. Think many people just struggle to see past Bravo's first season. Was mostly quite decent when called upon after that. Really wasn't keen on Caballero until the...

Most pissed off you have been at a game.

    - Spurs home game last season (couldn't believe it had happened AGAIN) - Squandering a two-goal lead to win the title against United - 3-1 defeat to Chelsea in 16/17 when Anthony Taylor's performance was nothing short of atrocious - 1-0 defeat to United in 09/10 when we conceded an injury time...

Where did it go wrong for Roberto Mancini? - new podcast

Is it true he came close to resigning after we won the league in 2012? As for the Wigan cup final, I just don't get it. There was a major trophy on the line and the players should have been able to put any issues with Mancini to one side just for a day. I can believe they were. He'd worked...

Players who should have played for City.

Lassana Diarra Mikael Silvestre I read somewhere we were once close to signing Ibrahimovic as well.

    Does this still make you.....?

No. It was an unbelievable day but it was eight years ago and life goes on. I don't live in the past.

    Manchester City Club Manager

Anybody remember this? The game was released each season between 2002 and 2004. (not only City, think a few clubs had the same deal) Think it looks pretty good! Played the 2003/04 version - was too young though to be any good at it. As an avid FM'er nowadays, would have loved to have had...

    Richard Dunne

Know it was only a friendly but still can't believe we won that one. FC Barcelona:Pinto, Montoya (Alves 45), Fontas (Henry 63), Puyol (Bartra 31) (Pique 63), Maxwell (Muniesa, 63), Toure (Tiago 45) Busquets ( Keita 45), Gudjohnsen (Jonathan, 45), Pedro (Messi 45), Bojan (Ibrahimovic 45) and...

    Man City’s Premier League Goalkeepers

Only got Tommy Wright cause I recently saw his game against Newcastle on YouTube...actually made some very good saves that day. Tragically yes, at the age of 32. He'd previously had a tumour removed from his arm.

    Mancini or Pep era?

Pep era without doubt better football...and the best two domestic campaigns in English history. But Mancini delivered success at a time when we weren't used to it, and thus that I enjoyed most. I also preferred him as a person, mainly because of the scarf. It'll never happen but I'd love to...

Alan Ball or Frank Clark era....

Far too young to remember the Alan Ball era, but I do have a question. We took 2 points from the first 11 games but then 36 from the remaining 27. That means from the final 27 games we had a PPG of 1.33, which replicated over a full season would have got us 50/51 points to finish 10th/11th...

Balotelli only Italian to win premier league medal

Despite only one Italian player winning the league, more Italian coaches have done it than from any other nation - Ancelotti, Mancini, Ranieri, Conte 2 Scots (Ferguson and Dalglish), 1 Frenchman (Wenger), 1 Portuguese (Mourinho), 1 Chilean (Pellers) and 1 Spaniard (Pep).

That one against Blackburn still remains one of my favourites.

What’s the best we’ve ever played?

The thing that annoyed me about the 6-1 is that many people said it was just because United were down to 10 men and kept chasing goals even at 1-3 down. It annoys me because we totally outplayed them in the second half and could easily have had 6 well before those three at the end.
