Just for fun : who was our worst signing in the Premier League era ?

Another vote for Jo. Was honoured to have been there when he stuck away his only PL goal though. RSC was a strange signing too.

    Aaron Wan-Bissaka (signed for United)

Jeesh, completely forgot about Dalot.... the best young right back in Europe apparently when they signed him.... *cough*

The biggest **** ever to play for City

Good old Joey up to his old tricks today.... He really is the absolute scum of the earth.

The biggest **** ever to play for City

Joseph "Thank You" Barton. For all the good things he did on the pitch (and there were a few), the things he did off it (Dabo, Tandy etc etc) put him right up there for me. Still got a signed picture of him somewhere in the loft mind.

    Ronaldo (Signed for Juventus)

    No chance.

    Sergio Aguero - 2017/18 performances

Hope he stays but wouldn't be surprised if he moved on in summer.

Where do you think we'll finish this season and why?

    José Salomón Rondón

Vergini? Only if we played him up front.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZFQpgTSDlk Love that! Not good enough for us if played in defence though.

    Eliaquim Mangala - now official

Re: Eliaquim Mangala ARE WE NEARLY THERE YET? Really wish we could get this one tied up so we can go back to speculating who's next, even though we've been told there's no one next.

    Verminous Vickery

Used to like listening to Vickery on the world football phone in, haven't bothered for a while. One thing I know is that he's always been a pretty terrible judge of player ability, Rafael Scheidt being a classic example he tipped for greatness. More recently he was certain beyond doubt Paulinho...

So, WC last 2, who do you want to win it ?

Re: So, WC last 16, who do you want to win it ? Genuinely want a European team to win, proud to be both English and European myself, and sick of the constant media reminders that a European team has never won it in South America etc etc. I guess that makes me in the minority with all the anti...

West Ham Pre-Match Thread... Here we go!

Everyone thinks we're going to struggle and the game is going to be like walking through treacle, everyone is probably right. But I'd love it if we could bang in 5 or 6 to: a) Stick it to Fat Sam and his "I'd rather Liverpool won the title" rhetoric b) Finish the season with more goals scored...

    Sunderland.

Know a few Sunderland fans and fair play to them, didn't think he could do it but Gus did a great job. Happy they're staying up to be honest. Apart from the fact that we will 100% lose 1-0 there again next season.

    Liverpool Thread 2013/14 (continued)

Favourite part on that thread is when a Liverpool fan describes City as now having a "sense of entitlement". You just couldn't make it up. If I had such a thing as an irony meter, pretty sure it would have just exploded.

City v Chelsea Post Match Thread

It was a crock of shit tonight, but at the end of the day, they've taken 6 points off us and we're still ahead of them in the league. Fern hopefully back very soon, I reckon we can do 6 wins out of 6 before the derby, Sergio back in time for that and The Arse..... we can still do it.
