    Favourite old school trainers?

Only ever worn Adidas kick at school & Samba since, with the occasional blue suede beauties as well.

How much do you know about second world war films?

7 out of 10 for me. Some quality films mentioned.

What book are you reading now / or recommend?

Sorry I'm not aware of Joe Abercrombies work so I can't compare but there's definitely King influence, unsurprisingly. I have to add at this point that this is the first book of his I've read so I may be a little unfair on him. I've got 2 other books of his to read at some point Heart Shaped Box...

What book are you reading now / or recommend?

NOS4R2 by Joe Hill. Pretty dark fantasy horror but very good nonetheless, Stephen Kings lad so no surprise really.

    Synthwave.

Wasn't Ryiuchi Sakamoto part of YMO before his David Sylvian collaboration? Very underrated guy.

Very dependable player, sadly forgotten by too many these days.

    Dennis Tueart

I adored the bloke as a young lad in the North Stand many moons ago. When him & Barnes got the ball the sense of expectation was intense. I bugged the hell out of my parents too get tassels on my football socks. What a player.

    Favourite Horror Movies?

Apologies if it's already been mentioned but The Orphanage is damn good, providing you don't mind subtitles.

They suit each other down to the ground. An egotistical, media driven bunch of knobs. Can't wait to see yesterday's man fail at yesterday's club.

    MLB 2016

An always hopeful A's fan here. The season looks as if it could be a struggle with the occasional bright spot. After a recent tapping by the Red Sox we've just been done by the Yankees. A long way to go though.

    Players season ratings

Hart - 7 - very good season again. Caballero - 5 - never really trusted him but glad he was there CoC Final day. Sagna - 8 - one of our most consistent players & candidate for POTY. Zabaleta - 6 - the knee injuries have blighted his season & future with us, sadly. Kompany - 6 - the man's...

    Tony Cozier

Very sad news. One of the most enjoyable voices on commentary. It'll be really strange not hearing him when we next play against the WIndies.

    18 years ago today....

I remember the day vividly. The only ticket I could get was in the home end behind the goal. A very scary day when, I have to be honest, I got to the point when I didn't care what the score was I just wanted to get home. Lots of City fans in lots of bother all day.

    Tommy Caton

He was a wonderful talent. Such a tragic ending to a young life. RIP Tommy lad, the memories may be few but they shine bright.

    James Taylor - Cricketer

Really sad news. A very talented young player who was just beginning to realise his talent & a Blue to boot. A huge blow for him & English Cricket but obviously his health is the primary concern. Best wishes to him for the future.

City Greats Contest - Kinky v Ali

Very tough, it feels wrong choosing one over the other. Gio was a very gifted player & was at his most exciting running with the ball. His balance was superb as was his eye for a pass. Ali had a remarkable football brain & operated at a more sedate pace but his qualities were a thing of beauty...
