Chelsea - FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

Yes and no. They defended well and were compact. But we were utterly wank bad going forward until Foden and Gundogan came on and offered a little (and then Chelsea just decided to attempt to kick the crap out of Foden every time he touched it). Playing 2 defensive midfielders will do that to you.

Chelsea - FA Cup SF | Post-Match Thread

That was depolorably bad. Sterling, Jesus, Mendy in utterly horrendous form. What the frig Steffen was doing for the goal. But to be honest, we could have played 900 minutes today and wouldn't have looked like scoring. Oh and can someone pease f****** tell Pep he is allowed to use all of his...

Match Thread | B. Dortmund vs Man City (14/04/21)

Job done team - well done boys. Onto the semis and those Parisian fuckers.... just imagine the dribble we are going to see in the media before this tie (painful won't begin to describe the crap they'll come up with).

Some people are just genuinely deluded along with their hate. I would have had zero complaints had it gone the other way.... penalty every day of the week.

Lol in this case it was ridiculous. It was arm and head at the same frigging time. But the key factor - his arm was nowhere near a natural position. Nailed on penalty for mine every time - don't know what the fuss was about.

So slow with possession, and Dortmund playing like Stoke on a wet Tuesday night - can't wait to get at least 10 if not 11 behind the ball. So frustrating, but we are likely to need some individual brilliance to make the breakthrough.

    Glyn Pardoe RIP

RIP a true blue and legend of our football club. That is all that needs to be said. That City team in the sky is an almighty one! Tough day for young Tommy too - I hope he can do his grandad's proud and carve out a career of his own in City blue.

UEFA FFP investigation - CAS decision to be announced Monday, 13th July 9.30am BST

No doubt at all we will take UEFA to the cleaners if we are fully exonerated. If its a settlement, a substantial reduction in the fine or ban will be our 'damages'.

They mena it won't be released pubilcly. CAS will have access to the information.

UEFA FFP investigation - CAS decision to be announced Monday, 13th July 9.30am BST

The case will come down to what evidence UEFA has been able to compile to supplement the leaked emails. If its the leaked emails and tumbleweed (which is what City are hedging), then I reckon we will give 'em an absolute bath in CAS - after all we are in a position of power in all this, in terms...

UEFA FFP investigation - CAS decision to be announced Monday, 13th July 9.30am BST

The question of the settlement on the original deal is interesting. Surely the 'agreement' would have been watertight in terms of that being that for those offences - as most out of court settlements are. There has to be a fair amount of greyness in regards to what will constitute 'new offences'...

UEFA FFP investigation - CAS decision to be announced Monday, 13th July 9.30am BST

Do tell how we are meant to challenge UEFA in the British court system? If we don't like something UEFA is doing and we want to challenge it, they are based in the EU and the EU courts are the ones that will have the say. Your comment is nonsensical.

SSN: PL to give City points deduction?

That isn't quite right. The FFP regime has fully been tested, as in many of the cases its been thrown out at the first step (such as the galatasaray one I think it was) because of other reasons. No findings against FFP have been made, but Its not been through a truly rigorous court process to...

UEFA FFP investigation - CAS decision to be announced Monday, 13th July 9.30am BST

Hardly. We will regroup and rebuild. It'll have shorter term impacts for sure, but we have too much power now to be put back in the box. Why would inland revenue care unless we've been misreporting income and not paying tax on it?

Crystal Palace (H) - Post Match

As I said, that ain't a problem with the VAR concept, that's a problem with how its been implemented. Make the referee on the park the final decision maker for all bar the blatantly obviously wrong decisions (that can be easily fixed) + offsides, and force them to use VAR to watch replays...

Crystal Palace (H) - Post Match

I don't agree. Reading the rule as it stands, I can see how the referee gave it as a penalty, and turned around the other way, I would of been frustrated with it, but accepting it too. Likewise, I could see how one might wave it away and not give it as a penalty - again I think there is...

Crystal Palace (H) - Post Match

Same here. We played a vastly better to watch style of football during our Centurions season - they've just been very effective in terms of grinding out results consistently. All credit for that, but I don't think they are this year as good as they were last year (in terms of style/quality of...
