The rescissión clause of the majority of players is pretty low. Aleix Garcia is 20m euros, for example.

    1. Like Afganistán but changing the ending ;) 2. Absolutely understandable. I dunno if you follow the nba, but I heard the other day the actual pronunciation of Antetokoumpo and I was flabbergasted. PD: Also, I think De Bruyne it's around "the bro-ne", but any Dutch feel free to correct me.

The correct pronunciation in catalan is the following: The Gi in Girona is pronounced like the ji in "jiggle" . The ro is kinda like the "rough" in "borough" . But all o, not ow. Like the first "o" in "moreover" . The na is an "n" followed by an "e" like in "the". In Spanish, the city...

    Girona Thread - 2023/24

All Girona fans expect significant exits this summer. Actually, there was a surprising low number of important sales this past transfer window. Still, we are the best team in Spain atm, lol.

Clubs who have huge potential for a rich backer?

Personally, I would buy Valencia, which has a good fanbase, history and a reasonably big city. A third of the price of any first division club in England, and with like only 100-150m investment you get at the very least an EL place, and very good chances of CL football.

They used to own 47% each, but Guardiolas brother sold most of it. Now Marcelo Clauré (yes, the Beckham associate) owns 35% of the club and Pere Guardiola 16%.

    City v Girona | Sat 17th Dec, 13:00

I hope Terrats at cb has been a friendly thing. If not, I even prefer Bernardo there. Not that I have stopped thinking that Bernardo should be sent to Uzbekistan this January.

Casemiro is still a very good player. He goes there for the money, so lets see how motivated he really is. Nonetheless, he is quite profesional, so he may so well actually.

UEFA Super Cup | Real Madrid v Frankfurt | 20:00 KO (BST)

Madrid wins 2-0. Fairly comfortable win. They better pray Benzema doesnt get injured.

Girona FC Liga 2 play off final (Promoted)

Well, now the difficult part starts. We lose a few of our starters, which will be annoying. At least our salaries are somewhat low, and with the TV money we will have to get at least three starters in, ideally five. If not we are going down. On the other side, our coach is a good one, so I...

Julian Alvarez | Signs for City (see main forum)

Don't know how, bustos can't score even at gunpoint. I doubt that interest is real.

    Pedro Porro

Quality player. Now is a very good right back for a first division team. By 21 he will be playing in seville or similar. By 24 in a top team.

    Joao Cancelo

Now? First division starter in a mid table team. In the future? Who knows. At least Europa league level.

    Girona FC 2018/2019

The addition of Stuani and Mojica has been decisive. Overall, I am not surprised.

    Girona FC 2018/2019

Well, Patrick Roberts has played decent, albeit not much. The problem is that Portu probably starts ahead of him, as even if I rate him equal or even better in the creation part of the game, Portu is a goal threat that Girona needs. Probably the system that Eusebio plays does not help him that...

    Girona FC 2018/2019

One hand of him is better than Eusebio. Fault lies in seville. He always played 3 man defense and it was obvious he was going to continue doing so. They don't sign the players for that, and the team fails. "shocking" .

    Girona FC 2018/2019

Luiz has improved. From dogshit (last year) to an utility player. I wouldn't start him probably, but he now be used for rotation. Roberts injured himself, for two months. I fully expect him to return and continue playing. Maybe not as a starter in general, as there is Portu in front of him, but...

As expected, we are doing poorly this year. Terrible trainer, and it shows. Bad signings this year, and it shows. Porro being one of the few lights.

    Girona FC 2018/2019

He's better imo. Just maybe a bit green. I could see him in a Europa league team in a couple of years. Not the position of Fernandinho, though. Pd:I am terrible at judging a player potential.

Luiz? Midtable team quality, if he works had.
