    FA Cup Games | Quarter-Finals | 16/17 Mar '24

A lot of the players who left us in recent years to try and be guaranteed starters somewhere are already back to square one. Sterling, Jesus, Zinchenko all far from mainstays in their side's best XI and all likely to be upgraded on soon. At what point does just moving clubs to get minutes stop...

What the fuck has happened to Sterling? Genuinely find it quite sad to watch what's become of him.

    19 | Julian Alvarez - 2023/24

Why? Struggling to think of a less appropriate false 9 than a man who can’t control a ball and gives away fouls every time he comes under pressure.

    Last Film You Saw

Moulin Rouge (for the first time ever). Not for me. Just write your own songs, lads. Still, at least Boy George was nowhere to be seen.

    Everton Thread - 2023/24 | 10 point deduction reduced to 6 points

Can get fucked as far as I'm concerned. Sick of seeing their fans moaning about how the 'Sky 6' and 'Cartel 4' are ruining everything. We voted against FFP, we warned them exactly what would happen, they ignored us, they voted for it (and they essentially laughed in our faces at the time)...

    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2023/24

Think we'd have had a much better shot at taking points from the Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa and Wolves games with him in the team.

    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2023/24

One of those rare players that, even if he was only fit for 50% of a season, would be worth every penny of his wages.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Absolute joke. One thing I noticed that I felt summed him up particularly well: at 2-0, he fired a shot straight at Krul when it looked like he could’ve chipped it over and scored (a rebound from a KDB shot). Next chance he gets, he chips it over Krul and gets his hat-trick.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Put it this way: out of everyone mentioned in that post, the one who has made the fewest Premier League appearances by far is Diego Costa, with 112 appearances. Haaland is on 55 appearances. Less than half of Costa. It's absolutely insane.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Level with Diego Costa, Gareth Bale, Ollie Watkins and Chicharito on the all-time top PL scorers list. One behind Andy Carroll and Alexandre Lacazette. Three off Diogo Jota and Tim Cahill, and by the end of the season he'll likely have overtaken Gianfranco Zola, Richarlison, David Silva and Yaya...

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

Another game where the only difference between a limp draw and a narrow win was Erling Haaland. Pretty astonishing that he's not good enough for some people on here just because he occasionally has a bad game.

Match Thread | Man City vs. Brentford (20/02/24)

Never seen Pep favour a player through bad form quite like he is with Alvarez. Most players would've been dropped weeks ago. The guy is nowhere near his best.

Match Thread | Man City vs. Brentford (20/02/24)

Julian needs a few weeks out the team for me. We know the quality he has but he's not showing it often enough lately, and we've seen in the past that a short break from starting can be exactly what a player needs.

    9 | Erling Haaland - 2023/24

You know what Didier Drogba would've called a 16 goal Premier League season? A fucking miracle. Young strikers have bad games. It's not just understandable, it's inevitable. I'm much more concerned about the tactics.

    Last Film You Saw

We watched that new Jennifer Lawrence movie, No Hard Feelings, the other night. Pretty good, IMO! Funny in many places.

    17 | Kevin De Bruyne - 2023/24

We're crazy fortunate to be supporting City while this man is active. Lampard and Gerrard and Scholes can have as much nostalgia on their side as they want but KDB can do things none of them could.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

He's very good, isn't he? It's fucking crazy that former youth players like Palmer, Diaz and Frimpong are now regular starters for world-famous clubs and yet none are good enough for regular starts here. Foden is here because he's an unbelievable talent.

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Beautiful isn't it? The ones that really make me laugh are the glory hunters. Particularly the ones who started supporting United around 2010-2013. "But you didn't do it legitimately!" they cry, knowing that they only support their club because they were fully under the impression that it...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

To be fair we pointed this problem out over a decade ago and Everton were one of the teams who didn't listen.

    47 | Phil Foden - 2023/24

Being made to play out of position is nothing new - we all know that Bernardo is better centrally than on the wing but he still plays out wide plenty of times. Zinchenko spent his whole City career at left-back (and because Arsenal somehow haven't noticed that he's not a natural defender, he's...
