Fixtures 2017/18 (Brighton (A) First game)

Here's a breakdown of travel distances for away games next season in the league. Brighton is a brutal one! http://www.thestatszone.com/articles/travel-distances-in-english-football-2017-18-premier-league

    Half-term report

"Must Try Harder" would be the teacher assessment I think. Looking ahead, it's vital we go into the new year with some momentum. Historically, we've done well over this period. This analyses - http://www.thestatszone.com/articles/premier-league-christmas-form - shows that we have picked more...

    Relegated after winning the title

Hah, I don't think Leicester will go down but I have to admit I did think they would perform a little better than they are this season. There's no way they were winning the title again (although I'm not sure I should say that with such confidence after last season!), but they are way further...

    Raheem Sterling - 2016/17 performances

It's evident that he's performing better so far this year, but nice to see the stats back that up. Hopefully he'll kick on now in KDB's absence.

Aguero banned for three games (updated)

They do actually mention Suarez in the article - http://www.thestatszone.com/articles/sergio-agüero-the-greatest-striker-in-premier-league-history The bit about best ever seasons in the PL - but yeah he doesn't make the overall list because he wasn't around long enough.

Aguero banned for three games (updated)

No doubt, it's a purely statistical look so players like Bergkamp will always fall short in that respect. Henry himself has said that Bergkamp was the best player he ever played with, barring Messi.

Aguero banned for three games (updated)

Word. Always good to have Kun back in the team especially - Iheanacho has been brilliant and I hope he'll still play a part in the coming weeks, but Aguero is just different gravy. I saw a decent article earlier comparing him with the greatest strikers in the PL era, and he really holds up...

Kevin De Bruyne - 2016/17 performances

I think it's clear we have something special on our hands. Still relatively early days, but I fully expect KDB to have a similar impact to Yaya Toure in his peak. He's one of those players who just seems to be a step ahead of opponents, and that's a rare talent.

    La Liga 2016/2017

Messi potentially looking at a spell on the sidelines - had to come off against AM and he looked pretty devastated.

    Aleix Garcia - 2016/17 Performances

Very mature performance - good to see. Think this lad has a very bright future.
