He certainly was. When they found out that he would give them a free kick for the slightest touch they milked it and went down like they had been poleaxed.

Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

We have been poor but are still second. We will improve. It says a lot about the teams below us that despite our current form they are still not above us. As somebody said, we are shit, so what does that make the rest then!

Spurs (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Taking chances is the key as we had over twice as many shots as them. One issue is we rely on Haaland and when he misfires its a major issue. In the past we had Alvarez,Jesus, Stirling and Mahrez all in double figures. We can't rely on the current batch to score. Our left back looks most likely...

Bournemouth (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

I think that the spending limits play their part. We all know that we need to replace key players next year and that may take over £200 million. To do it this year would mean the wage bill would increase. We pay some players 15 million a year on their contracts so may need to wait until those...

PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I wonder what punishment should be given to a team that gets the whole of English football banned from playing in Europe?

    The Stones Goal

    Should have been disallowed.

    The Stones Goal

Totally disagree. The two Arsenal players ran in front of him and deliberately obstructed him with no attempt to play the ball. Thats a foul according to the laws of the game. The weren't placed in front of him when the corner was taken.

Why subjective? You cannot be offside from a corner. Once Stones touched it you can be but Bernardo wasn't interfering with play and not obstructing the keeper.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

If this is so and now in the public domain EUFA should investigate these clubs and charge them for breaches of FFP. Don't hold your breath though!

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

You mean like Arsenal and the Scousers have gained an advantage with their interest free loans. Maybe these clubs should take action against them or indeed the Premier League for knowingly allowing it to happen.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Could we sue them for the loss of income if they made a lower valuation without good reason. The club could lose millions in sponsorship directly due to a spurious valuation.

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

The interest free loans have given some clubs a competitive advantage over others. Also assisting those clubs to pass the PSR. I assume that they will have to ensure that interest is paid in future and will get the rules changed provided there is no backdating. Does this means that owner...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I assume that was based on the Premier Leagues calculations. Is there a right of appeal? Or are the calculations based upon generally accepted practices. City must have some evidence of benchmarking to argue their case. Would be Interesting to compare all clubs in Europe to see where arguably...

City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Who won? I have been asked at least 6 times today. Purely because the Premier League played it down as a small matter of incorrect rules that can easily be rectified. My answer was make your own mind up. City can claim compensation for millions. The Premier League have to change their rules as...

Will the other clubs vote for the rules to damage the Ars e and the others!

Bollocks. Take them for every penny then invest it into the club.
