We are on the train direct to Frankfurt Airport at 0900 or just after..it leaves from Basel SBB .this is the main station. We are also in Ibis Budget but staying in Freiburg the night before for cheaper bars- Awayday21

Be great at £9 a pint. Better going one tram stop over river (5 mins) or Well Am Rhein (£4 a pint)- Awayday21

Travelled to Basel a few times. As a great alternative and cheap beer Freiburg is a great City 45 mins away on high speed train. Flights to Frankfurt if cheaper gives you a fast train in less than 2 hours. Loads of bars in Freiburg- Awayday21
