Lyon (H) - Post Match Thread

Weird. We were sort of good in patches. But the intensity and pace were missing. Gu do fan was the best of are midfielders and it should have been fern substituted. I don't think the end is near for fern. But I suspect he is no longer a two or three fans in a week player. The sterling sub was...

Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

On the contrary I think your wrong. I believe he would;d would definitely smash any league he may choose to play in. It would be much easier for him; 1/He would be playing in one of two or two teams that historically dominate their league. Barca, Madrid, Bayern, PSG, take your pick 2/ He he...

Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

Mmmm? Nah fella, It was definitely all Sterling ripping up defences including City at Anfield the season when slippy threw it away for them a few weeks later against Chelsea. In fact I would go as far to say he was a lot more of an expansive player under Rogers as they relied on him to play...

Give it to the end of this season. Despite his apparent connection with the club, Id be surprised if the lad and his agent were not looking at this and thinking WTF. I hope not though as for similar reasons to Neymar Ive never thought he was one for us. I just dont see the work rate...

Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

Doesnt make sense? How do you explain that he was brilliant under Brendan Rogers, which led to every fucker and his son wanting to sign him? Thats two managers hes excelled under one promising the other a genius. The argument that he can only kick a football under Pep, does not stack up.

Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

Wrong. He would piss any league. Further technically he is very good. You simply dont and get into a Pep side if you are not.

I dont even like him but the only one out of that lot that tried to put a shift in was cavani. One more thing the amount of times Mbappe pretended to challenge/jump for the ball in the air when it was clear that he had no intention of winning it was shocking. He must have done it half a dozen...

Further their squad is not deep. With the exception of firminio, that was the first 11. It's not sustainable throughout the season unless they get knocked out of certain cups.

Mate through gritted teeth I have to half agree with you. But come on, please, PSG were shit.

Sterling’s contract - three year extension confirmed

I I put in the hard miles playing footy at Hough End, Platt fields Park. Rek Park and Birch fields. Still doesn't mean my point of view is superior to any others on this forum, but it does mean I was more comfortable with the concept of a fly goalie when ederson joined City.

    Neymar

I know what you mean, but at times there one in the same. Attitude affects work rate and ability. And for me the countless times I've seen him for Monaco or France workrate hasnt been one of the things that have been evident. The factors that alarmed me yesterday more than any was his...

    Neymar

I'm glad you've said that because it's unfashionable in this forum to call it like it is. Both were shit not one the both of them.

    Neymar

Yes it is. He played in a shite league where the opposition for the title was a number of 1. As for France tell me when and where he has set the world alight that hasn't involved him beating a defender in a foot race. One trick pony without that pace and Liverpool proved it last night. Robertson...

    Liverpool thread 2018/19

The Rabiot drums are silent this morning. Average, workmanlike defender with a passing range of 10-20 yards. Matic like in his mobility got a little bit of a baller in him but no more than Mark Noble. On that showing last night I hope the clamour for his signing is done.

    Neymar

On last nights showing I saw little or no difference between him and mbappe. Both were lazy, undisciplined, selfish and were constantly looking for that YouTube moment. I can't stand neymar but at least neymar didn't attempt to beat a player from just outside PSG's box which led to PSG losing...
