Sterling : City not treated with same respect as Liverpool - Cites 0 PFA Awards despite titles

Mate, the award lost all credibility the season Giggs won it. My point was more the fact that the previous winners were just as worthy of the award on an individual basis. If KDB doesn't win it this year I'll be eating my hat.

Sterling : City not treated with same respect as Liverpool - Cites 0 PFA Awards despite titles

Some perspective is needed here tbh. You have to look at the previous winners and ask if any of those were undeserved? I'd argue for Yaya winning it but can also see why Suarez won it. Again last season, I actually thought if a City player should win it, it should be Bernardo but hey ho...

VAR impact and consequence log - game 27

End of the day it’s all ifs and buts tbh. Unless it’s a last minute decision like the one vs Spurs you can never really say how the game would’ve ended. No guarantee Sheffield’s goal stands and we don’t come back to win etc

VAR impact and consequence log - game 27

Was one of the clearer 'tight' offsides tbf. But whilst the ref didn't touch the ball he clearly got in the way of the SHU player. I mean, I dont know if the rule is explicitly for the ref touching the ball but he impeded the SHU player from receiving the pass

    Sheff Utd (h) pre-match thread

Sheffield United probably have the smallest squad in the league. Can see them being leggy for this one. KDB & Aguero came off early so should both start. They defend well but unlike Wolves, they dont have the pace to get in behind. The only way I can see them getting a goal is from, ahem, set...

VAR impact and consequence log - game 27

I think you're massively overrating the refereeing association in this country if you're classifying their incompetence as some intricate conspiracy plan. You may very well be right given some of the shocking decisions against us, but you see Norwich, Palace and Brighton all getting shafted in...

    Wolves - post match

I swear Laporte becomes a better defender with every defeat. Don’t get me wrong, he’s probably the best defender in the league but you read some of the comments and you’d think we never lost a game with him on the pitch last season. I get the frustration but we were playing with 10 fucking men...

    Wolves - post match

Worse thing about that Mendy incident - I could be wrong here but wouldnt it have been a corner if he shielded the ball out anyways?

League Cup QF Draw - Oxford United (A)

Well, he probably fielded the weakest team he could vs Arsenal and still beat them so I doubt it will change vs Villa. He really doesn't seem to care about this competition.

    Var debate 2019/20

Yea but if they were to start making exceptions where do you stop? The rule is fundamentally flawed but it has to be consistent or else that just creates an even bigger farce. If Spurs scored from a player that was in an offside position and it was spared because it was just 'a toe' you'd also...
