    47 | Phil Foden - 2022/23

Seems like Pep probably planned to sub him for Grealish after an hour anyway, but not squaring the ball accelerated that a bit. A 15 minute penalty.

That’s it. So, unless I’m missing somebody, 19 players in the past 25 years played both a Champions League Final and a competitive match for City. That’s more than I would have thought, honestly.

Missed another one then. But there’s still one left from Bayern.

Demichelis is 17. Of course, Pep and Txiki are the special cases. So, the single most obscure City-affiliated player to have started a Champions League Final in the past 25 years is...

City's best-ever penalty taker? (any era)

Preferred Elano’s style of surgically rippling the inside netting. Though it’s hard to choose from a group of four that never missed.

    Kylian Mbappe

I don't disagree with your larger point, and they definitely bossed us at times, but they still managed to concede six over the two games and completely shat themselves there for awhile in the second half at the Etihad.

PL & CL Squads (updated: Toure omitted from CL squad)

Without knowing for sure, I'll guess the club would have been willing to subsidize a loan like they did for their other high wage players, but Yaya chose to stay rather than find a place where he would play more often.

The are we allowed the "it's quiet" thread yet? thread.

I always read it as a scrunched up 'something like that', like the way some commentators like Stewart Robson pronounce Manchester as 'Mchr'. Not being from England, I have no idea if that is common phrasing or if he just can't speak correctly.
