Our players look so "tired". Physically I can't imagine how tired they must feel after 2 tough and successful seasons. On top of that you add international competitions.
On the psychological side some players seriously look burned down like Otamendi, Stones, Bravo or Mendy.
I just feel like...
Tbh I dont think we should give the keys to Pep for a rebuild. His contract ends in 2021 and despite all the respect I have for him, it will be a good time to bring in a new manager ( if not this summer )
Are you 100% sure that all these injuries are perfectly diagnosed and treated ?
Are you certain the balance between physical prep, tactic, rest etc is optimal ?
Are players in good mental dispositions to face all the challenges ahead of them ?
Very good game even though the defense is still a question mark. Foden's first yellow is a joke but he is only 19, learning and has the full support of Pep despite being sent off.
None of them. We are spoiled to have 5 elite midfielders for 2 slots with KDB being among the 3 best in his position in the whole world.
I'd like to see more of Foden paired with Gundo actually.
Playing the devil's advocate, Gundogan is a fantastic midfield player that would start for every club in the Premier League and we are lucky to have him . It's too easy to pin him as the reason why Wolves got the 3 pts and we didn't. The whole team did bad and under performed
I really hope to see Foden and Cancelo start, extra would be Dinho or Stones in central defense.
Brighton seems to me a good opponent to try new things on the pitch.
VAR and refering mistakes will be the best leverage Agnelli will use to push the SuperLeague. A League with the top European teams, more money for clubs and the best refs available.
To me it looks like every FA in Europe is digging its own grave.
CL + PL is the ceiling.
If Pep and the squad manage to win these 2 trophies during a season they'll be on par with Pep's FCB side in my opinion. And the exciting part is that they are capable of doing it this season !
