The emergence of Nico as a marauding fullback too probably. The more Nico runs the less Doku runs it seems to me.

Feels like this is kind of the standard for this forum. Don't mean to be a tool, but objectively speaking there is a lot more in depth analysis and debate at the redcafe forum over United's players. I wonder why is that the case since the forum format is pretty similar. The only big difference...

I think its by design. They're training him to be less of a complete winger and specializing him even further in what hes good at, small bursts in the half space. But not improving his long distance and off ball game will haunt him in the future. I just think its the wrong approach because its...

Hes stockier and more bulked up. And yes when you work on your technique instead of your speed/endurance, then you become better in your technique and worse in your speed/endurance. Its not exactly rocket science.

Because he doesn't work on it enough? Instead working on technique, agility, strength etc. Because these are the things he improved on but it cost him his pace.

No winger releases the ball earlier more often to the point where theyre great decision makers. Otherwise they wouldn't be wingers. His finishing is fine he just doesn't get into enough chances. And his off ball positioning would improve if he runs more. Then he would have more chances and...

He can be the best winger in the world if he just runs more. But I think hes afraid of getting injured.

Could be double that amount, and a goal/assist per game if he actually puts in the shift off the ball instead of just waiting for it at his feet, regardless in the middle or on the wing. And he would be a BDO candidate if he does that. He's not a #10 to just walk around in the middle, receive...

    Masterclass.

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

Hes very fast, got a lot of bravery and works hard to create opportunities. He should be cut some slack for sure.

    11 | Jeremy Doku - 2025/26

He shouldn't because he has no off ball movement whatsoever. I saw a comment on Twitter saying post-baptism Doku seems to have understood "walking the path of Jesus" quite literally. I wonder if there are stats for distance covered for this match. I think only Donnarumma must have had less...

To be honest I think his weak foot is much better than most other players weak foot. Not ambidextrous by any means but quote solid, unlike say Savinho, Bobb or even Haaland. He makes quick decisions in small spaces when hes forced to rely on his instincts. But this ability and Pep's tactics...

    26 | Savinho - 2025/26

He knows hes under a lot of heat so hes trying to do something. Poor kid, the pressure is getting to him.

I wonder if Pep moved him to the center because he realized his pace has declined for the wing. What I've seen in recent games is concerning. Couldn't get past the Everton, Villareal, Swansea and now Bournemouth fullbacks. Compare him to this version and there is a noticable difference in the...

Hes a good passer in small spaces. Could have been the GOAT of five a side football. The world will never know:)

    52 | Oscar Bobb - 2025/26

He plays on the right against teams that don't give up space, this game was the opposite.

    14 | Nico Gonzalez - 2025/26

Hes improved a lot, shades of Rodri there.

I love him but I can be objective. Its weird because I think he can be so much better if he applies himself more. I wonder how Pep and his teammates don't have a go at him for being so languid all the time. The man literally made zero off the ball runs today. Even one time there was Haaland...
