City phoned me and offered this for corperate hospitality for the Liverpool game.. Meet at the academy stadium get a pie & pint and a seat on the half way line in the East Stand, for only £199... How can they justify the price of that, it basically works out at £190 for a match ticket..

Why would they need to justify it, they offer you something you decide whether it's good value or not?

tbh me last year would have taken that. Now I cant afford it.

If the market is there I dont see an issue with the club making money

Or it could be £180 for the pie, a tenner for the pint and the ticket comes free!

Thomas Cook Sport are at it as well. £252 for East Stand L3 match ticket and a night at the Clayton Airport Hotel (which is £100 on booking.com)

"Offsite hospitality" has gone on for years at all clubs. Of course it's a money-spinner, but it's also a way for people without tickets and with no hope of getting one to get into a game, usually on expenses. Nobody has to buy it if they don't want it.

I tell you what, if Liverpool offered a similar deal at Anfield I'd probably take it.
