personally i think you would a better poster if you took the piss less but thats just my opinion, the problem with a dry sense of humour if overused is that people cant be arsed trying to give an opinion as a flippant response makes them feel like they shouldnt have bothered.

It might be worth bearing in mind that on topics where I'm not being serious, I'm not actually looking for a serious response. This being a case in point. I was just having a laugh with TMQ. I don't take life too seriously. If I did, i'd be a manic depressive because my serious views mean I have to look at what I see in the world and see injustice after injustice with various idiots justifying the unjustifiable.

as it always been the same the mail? i dont remeber it having the same rep years back, dont read it myself but have seen a few writers on question time and they do seem like they are holding back the full extent of their views

I've no idea what it used to be like but for the past few years one of the girls I was living with bought it on a daily basis. I'd flick through it whilst making my tea reading the sheer panic and horror as the journalists tried their level best to scare the complete shit out of me. It worked until I actually stopped and thought and realised it was just scare mongering aimed at middle Britain.

My favourite article was written by a 40+ yr old man who complained that 'within 40 seconds of registering on Facebook posing as a 14yr old girl I received sexually explicit messages from men I've never met'.

There was also an hilarious article about London 'street kids', 2 in 3 carry knives apparently but my favourite aspect of the article was how obviously made up the names and quotes were!

i think you two overplay the importance of the daily mail and underplay the fact that certain sections of this country take the mick which in turn causes anger amongst a large section of the country.

Now we're living under the Communist Tyranny of the Conservatives and I missed out on all the socialism. Ah well, Communism isn't so bad and Comrade Cameron is a fine man.

I'm genuinely interested (probably moreso to see if you can give a serious answer rather than in the answer itself ;) ) .... what would a socialist government look like to you. What policies would be enacted etc. Imagine that you had taken over from Labour.

One way to solve people abusing the system is to make people responsible for the financial upkeep of any chils after the 3rd?

So if you have a 4th child you get no child benefit/tax credits ut's the sole responsibilty of the parents to provide from their own pockets etc

I'm aware some will say thats unfair cos some ppl like a large family but thats just my view.
