£72 million over 6 years?

Under Armour admitted they overpaid with Liverpool as they needed to break into the market, it's them who benefit from the Liverpool deal more than vice versa, kits will not be as readily available in foreign lands as they were with Adidas

Same with Arsenal and Puma.

We are the opposite with MCFC it's worth us being with Nike and being paid abit less to get our kit sold in places it never would be with Under Armour

We sold approx 250000 shirts in 2012. At £55 a throw that would get nike it's £12 million back just making a profit

No cost to us, so the deal not bad

You mean warrior? Under Armour are with Spurs.

Used to work for Kitbag who manage the Chelsea online store as well as ours.

Chelsea shift a big amount of shirts in America.

We still have a way to go to catch other clubs but the Nike deal will help us to shift more globally.

Nike would be lucky to clear £4m profit on 250k shirt sales.

Does anyone have any idea about shirt deals and sponsors for NYCFC and if we will benefit from these?

NYCFC obviously doesn't have a shirt sponsor currently, but each MLS team signs their own shirt sponsor deals, not the central MLS office. There is no leeway in terms of who makes the shirts though, as Adidas has league-wide contract, so no individual team deals possible...

I'm not sure what you mean by benefits from either for MCFC. Different teams, so it's not like revenues from NYCFC can help MCFC with FFP issues.

Sounds like 2 losers together then.

A shirt is bought in for about a tenner. 45 quid for the club.
That's why they can flog them off end of season for 15 and still make a small mark up 50 percent!
