£9.50 HAM EGG AND CHIPS? would you have done a runner?

Got pissed with TueartsBoots in the City Pride, went for a meal in the famous Chophouse, or rather not £9.50 for a Ham Egg and Chips.
Had to make excuse that a child was ill, not tight but thats a bit steep, did a runner out of embarresment. If TB had stayed off the juice could have gone for a nice quiet Turkish instead.

Good tip for town's dearest pub if it's Tom's. Overpriced food and beer (which is often rubbish) and surly staff. It's in all the guides but despite walking past nearly every day, I happily avoid it from one year to the next.

I went to Geneva in November, bought a chicken burger and chips in a Bar on a night out, came to about £12!, i came back to my college and got a nicer chicken burger for a quid!.
