£100m is a snip compared to the £140m laid out by Spurs

Thats alot of deadwood for 140million. They are going to spend another 14million again this weekend with the signing of wilson palacios (I think this is a good buy tho)

Daily Mail is actually the most City friendly paper so far I think?

They might be trying to ingratiate themselves of course but nice anyway.

I agree they are drumming out all the right storys again... good strategy

It's common sense. We are going to be all the big news in the futre, and if we already have a good relationship with them, then they may well get plenty of exclusives in the futre.

Who owns Daily Mail?...Do we know?

I was a bit surprised when they had a guy doing an exclusive with Khaldoon, it´s not something the Sheikhs and their friends agree to that often.

thats my take on it too... they are really covering their base... they are unlike many others actually being strategic in all this...

So Spurs spent more than £140m on players in the last two years - but how much did they get in return?

One Carling Cup, a place in the UEFA Cup - Europe’s second-tier, fifth-rate competition - and 18th position in the Premier League. Plus a very real threat of relegation.

Suddenly Manchester City’s offer for Kaka doesn’t seem so exorbitant after all."

Lucky nobody told them we have spent £112m over the last 2 seasons already, *before* any of our January signings!

Thank god they didnt tell the side about us spending over £111,000,000 in the last two yrs. And look at the players we got!
I for one still think that Jo will come good, he just needs to play in the right position just behind a striker or in goals!( nothing is getting passed his size & hair!)
