Possibly naive question, but aren't statues a bit of a no-no in (Islamic) Arabic culture? Not saying that would necessarily impact anything over here, given this is Manchester, but is it possible they might look to put up something other than a statue for him? Maybe name a training pitch after him? Two mosaics?
