I'm not a City fan but I see this every season. There is a blip, slow start, everyone panics in the post match or match threads. You always end up doing well.

You have a few injury set backs but all in all you're in a great position still.

The media have been splaffing themselves it will finally be Arsenal's year, and with all the so-called charges, lack of form and injuries you're still comfortably above them and the likes of Chelsea who are playing out their skin.

I'd have Liverpool favourites on the weekend, I think they may well win, but I wouldn't read too much into the table just now.

When the business end comes that's when you really hit the gears. January transfer window will be interesting
