Just seen Pep reply to a question about managing Brazil;
'After 1-4, I am no longer an option for Brazil. I, no no no, I have more than ever, I feel like lifting the team, getting back to our level.'
I thought that sounded positive news for the future ahead.

Fucking great and would be typical City if one of our worst results of the last few years led to Pep extending his stay

Very true but our major errors have been the failure to strengthen both full back positions and find a proper back up for Rodri. The way teams are playing through our midfield and defence is evidence of those failings. Even when we have everyone fit our best options are to play centre backs as full backs. How many years is it now since we had a proper left back ?

I agree.

Gvardiol is wasted at full-back.
We’ve not had a proper left back for as long as we can all remember.
As you say, we’ve also needed cover for Rodri.

Lol at those people saying our previous teams were better when they moaned then that we weren't good enough! Just constant moaning. All that's happened is that the flappers and moaners now have something concrete to hang their flapping hat on.

For me, we've been here before... last season the title was lost by Xmas. Season before we couldn't find the right players.

By January when we've got all of the injuries out of the way, when we have a settled team for this season and new players have bedded in more.. Then I'll start worrying if things are going bad. I think I said the same last year.

Every Autumn the same thing , some people have the memories of goldfish.
