I didnt think Henry liked us because of our fans treatment to Robin Van Persie about four years ago.

on another note...i can remember arsenal coming to maine road and getting clapped by city fans. henry played in that game as well.

I hadn't heard the opposition applauded like that by the Kippax, well, ever.... good job they took their foot off the gas after that......!

From what I remember, I think Robin Van Persie was being his arrogant, twatish self and seemed to be falling over all the time when no-one was around him. The City fans took exception to it and got on his back all the game. I recall Henry saying something in a post match interview about how harsh it was.

He is worth it. Only 31 and still doing the business.

We could certainly do with him right now. My only reservation is where would this leave some of our youngsters that are now breaking through, and would it deflect from us striving to sign somebody younger with potential.
