10 | Jack Grealish - 2021/22 Performances

Obviously finishing wasn't quite there first half but I thought he had a very good game and there were promising signs of him settling in and getting in sync with the team and knowing what his job is. There were numerous times when an easy option was on but he wasn't taking them this time and was turning and/or driving at them himself.Had a big hand in a couple of the goals. Hopefully it's not far off clicking into place for him
 
100m for a player who takes up a position where we need scorers, who's weakest arrribute is scoring. Shite business. The guy Nkuku would have cost half and probably been a much better fit. Pep needs to sort Jack's issues out or he will be a liability. He had already missed lots of important gilt edged chances in front of goal. The one against Chelsea nearly cost us. Today it didnt cause pressure as we are on a different level from Watford. If you want to play in our forward line you should be comfortable in front of goal. Simple as that.

That's got to be the worst take on today's game I've read and you had some decent competition...
Liability? Sort out his issues? He was excellent you barmpot.
 
Jack was heavily involved in all three goals today, he can miss as long as he contributes like today.

It's a massive stretch to say he was heavily invovled in all 3 goals. First goal he wasn't involved in at all being in the box vaguely nearby is not being heavily involved. Second goal he's taken out on the halfway line having a city player pick up his touch past Rose before being flattened isn't being heavily involved, he's still recovering from the terrible challenge when the ball goes in the net a good half a dozen passes later. And the third goal, he initilly carries it well before grinding to a halt in the box when he should be committing the defender, the ball goes back and is recycled before Bernardo does what Grealish should have, attacks the box and scores. Being overly generous he's had a small involvement in one goal, definitely not heavy involvement in all 3.
