Their first goal came tonight from him failing to press from the front making it easy for them to play between the lines right down the middle. The age old saying, you press as one or not at all. But he was no worse than anyone else. Would like to have seen him take this as an opportunity to show he can be a game changer for once....still waiting...

Can't really judge him on tonight. It's hard to get yourself motivated for a nothing game and most of the team weren't great. I thought he looked quite good at the weekend. I'm sure he will be fine.

No, he definitely never played as a LW. Nope, never. Never ever. Definitely not at City & certainly not at Valencia. Pmsl
Pmsl? What are even talking about. He mainly played in left midfield and attacking midfield. Did he regularly play in a front 3 where he was relied upon to score, due to the team setting up as a false 9?

Jack's a bit frustrating at the moment , still playing the safe ball in the first half but changed in the second half and took his man on but with little success also appears to be snatching at his shots , just needs a goal or two to get him back up to speed . Maybe a lot of people expecting Messi and Fakeronaldo rolled into one for the £100m , but he was always going to arrive as another excellent footballer competing with 18-20 more excellent footballers for a place in the starting eleven.

he needs more time to understand how we play, still it feels like a signing that did not improve us that much especially not in a way you would expect from a 100m transfer fee. pretty much a luxury signing but someone like Diogo Jota improved Pool much more for third of the fee.

once we get a top striker Foden will play much less in false 9/centrally, meaning he will play much more on the left.
which makes me question where is Grealish can become a regular exactly?
only thing I can see is Bernardo's position if we are stupid enough to sell him next summer (if he still adamant of wanting to change) but the difference between the workrate/pressing in Bernardo and Grealish is huge.
or Foden drops into middle areas like Bernardo but to fit Grealish in the side from left.
but to me priority still would be keeping Bernardo as he is now and keep Foden on left, if that happens Grealish is not a regular starter.

What was his weakest attribute as an attacking wide player or attacking midfielder or a false 9 in your opinion? (He played false 9 loads for Spain in case you weren’t aware?)

Im guessing you’ll agree it was has shooting no?

Did that make him a liability? Did it fuck

I find it baffling that anyone can’t see that ALL of our players are there or there about elite players. They all have their own strengths & they all have weaknesses

If you think any of our players are a liability, all I can say is that your understanding of football & my understanding of football are poles apart my friend

Instead of looking at their weaknesses, maybe taking a look at their strengths & how Pep will mould that strength to the benefit of the team

Grealish has been here 2 minutes & you think he’s a liability? Give him a fucking chance to get his feet under the table mate! He’s not been amazing for us as of yet, but he’s certainly not been a liability, unless I don’t understand the meaning of liability

Apologies for being a condescending ****, but I find your opinion of Grealish being a liability laughable
