Early days but it looks like Doku is better than Grealish at present. Jack will have to step up as he did last season.

90 minutes in his legs, more vs Wolves and the RB. His ball retention and defensive work will be key against Arsenal with Rodri missing.
He will have to step up even more this season though.

Very poor last night from Jack. Hopefully it's blip but Jeremy will give him a big challenge for that first starting 11. He did what Jack should have been doing as soon as he came on yesterday

He was so bad he looked like he had no pre-season and as if he was returning from injury or something. Very concerning.

Not sure what instructions he gets given. Sometimes he seems happy to just slowly move us ten yards upfield without losing the ball. If that's what Pep wants that's fine I guess. Surely he's got to be taking on the fullback on the outside occasionally though when there's so much space behind.

Just generally too safe this season, not taking enough risks. Im not saying take risks all the time, but he needs to do it sometimes. Gone back to playing like his first season.
