Raz daughter was actually racially insulted and his family received numerous death threats, I don't remember anyone making excuses for him back then. Does seem Jack gets off lightly as he seen as a bit of a loveable rogue by most. Personally I suspect he has a real problem with the drink and if he doesn’t get proper help he will end up like Merson, Rooney, gazza etc etc.

I have had my own struggles with the booze and the way he binge drinks is a real red flag to me. Not all alcoholics sit on a park bench etc it is a lot more nuanced then that.

Find the way his antics are glorified by the media absolutely sickening tbh.
 
Has anyone ever thought maybe he's just not at our level? He was by his own admission shite in the first season, had a purple patch in his second season and now according to pep shite last season.
I don't think he is good enough, ok he holds the ball well, talks all matey matey when interviewed, but what else does he do? Rarely goes past a player, Rarely scores. For the price we paid and his high wage I don't think it's unreasonable to expect more.
If villa offer us £50 million we should snap their hands off, but I don't think they will

That’s okay then because I doubt we are selling him £50 mill or no £50 mill.

Same. He's probably the most polarizing player we've had in a while due to not scoring/assisting much and the off-pitch partying antics. But I think you can tell a lot about someone's footballing knowledge on if they rate him or not.

He's a good footballer and brings a lot of control to the Pep system out on the LW. Don't think anybody should write him off just yet, Grealish deserves a chance next season to play his way back into the starting XI. Will be a tough task though, Doku has had a hell of a first season and will only get better.

Only way I see us selling him is if Villa or Chelsea come in with a sizeable offer (50-60£).
