Not arguing @ Keeper, because I haven't seen much of him tbh.

Clearly he is very skilful in tight situations and has good composure as his goal against Newcastle showed, but what are his other strengths ?

Speed, agility , vision etc

I don't think people were necessarily expecting him to rip up trees every week, but Bobb had a great pre-season and it looked like this year might be equivalent to Foden's 19/20 season. From there, anything was possible. But he's basically lost a year of progress now, at a crucial age, and fans are understandably gutted for him.

I aggree, his injury has been a disaster for a lad and his prospects with us. But in brutal terms of all things football, Grealish's - and we discuss him here - injuries and Foden retirement have been much more pressing issues for us than 'could', 'should', 'would' that you attach to Bobb.

never been a heavy scorer at youth level, hell of a creator though when given the keys in the middle.

Speed, dribbling, mentality, composure and a footballing brain.

That finish at Newcastle was something very special , very few players on the planet could have finished that.

Preseason he looked like he had gone up another couple of levels, I genuinely think he could well have ripped up the league if he had not broken his leg.

Could, should, would could very much apply to Grealish and he is a vastly experienced, international player.

Van de Ven is undoubtedly the more valuable and appreciating asset—he's younger, has four years remaining on his contract, and is on lower wages. A straight swap would be excellent business for City, but not for Tottenham. I highly doubt Levy would be so naive as to agree to a straight swap for Grealish, who not only commands higher wages but will also be 30 by the time he arrives at Spurs.

If City manages to pull off a straight swap, I would be absolutely wowed! It would be nothing short of a masterstroke in negotiations. Considering the circumstances, it would feel like a huge win for City, especially given the difference in age, contract length, and future value of the players involved.

It really was. Showed composure, skill and right at the death to win the match.

The issue with Van de Ven is injuries and lot's of them.

He has an injury record than would make even John Stones blush.

No doubting the talent but it's a hell of a risky signing with the amount of football he misses.

If you take a closer look at Grealish's injury history, you'll notice it’s quite comparable to VDV's, if not worse in some cases. He has been better since he has come to City.

That said, while VDV’s injury history is concerning, John Stones takes the crown—he’s in a league of his own when it comes to being injury-prone. Stones is the ultimate biscuit. When VDV is a mini biscuit. Stones has been injured ever since he has been here, every season, every year, 8 years straight!

Honestly, trying to compare these three players is just futile. The truth is, they’re all biscuits—fragile and prone to injuries, Grealish has been a lot, lot, lot better since he has got here but still a biscuit to some lesser degree!

You’ve twisted my arm. Chuck in Kalvin too.
 
Instrumental in our treble year. Played out of position in my opinion and absolutely has to replace Gundo in the middle but will never be played there for reasons only known to Pep. More importantly he's a body, which we're lacking. He's also fairly diligent with tracking back, but by the time he's got going, because of the suicidal way we play, they'll have scored. Other opinions are available.
 
I know he got some stick for going to England duty before coming straight back but I actually like that. He clearly has a good relationship with Carsley and he didn’t want to just not show up. Showed a lot of respect to Carsley and that shows a lot about him as a person I think.
