Not good. Sounds like he isn’t putting the required amount of effort in for me reading that. Not surprising given how poor he has been. Not sure what’s going on with him.

There are a number of players who haven't been at their best for the past year and a half, yet for some reason, it's Jack who gets the lions share of the criticism. A lot of us don't think he's doing anything wrong at all, certaintly not enough to warrant the abuse he's getting. Some City fans act like Rags and Dippers mentioning the £100m all the time.

Receive ball, shimmy to the byline, cut back - pass it. You can dress it up however but thats his role. He hasn’t scored a goal for a year.
 
As mentioned earlier by a poster Pep sees Jack every day in training and still does not give him a start, in fact he seems now to have slipped to 3rd as a right winger. I cannot imagine that Jack hasn't been tried in a more central role and again he's not be tried in match except for a couple of occasions.

i do not believe that Jack has lost his ability and nor does Pep but something is stopping him performing to his utmost and at the moment he does appear to be fit. He may have reached a point in his life (personal and work) where he needs a change and as many of us know that have been in this situation it does affect performance.

I would suggest that Jack has to work out what is going to make him happy before we see him return to any sort of form whether this is at City or another club. Weirdly I can see him happy at a USA club (Miami maybe), playing free football, enjoying the sunshine and walking on the beaches

If Bobb was fit, Jack would have been fourth choice! Ridiculous
 
Doesn’t look physically fit to me. Seems to have gained weight all over, even his chops

This isn't fair to Pep.

Savinho and Doku have the same opportunities and they've scored and assisted. I'm not having it that every time they go out on the pitch he gives them diametrically opposed instructions and that's the only reason Grealish hasn't scored or assisted.
 
The good guy, visits to the hospital PR thing held up for a while but I always knew that eventually the fans (and in this case, the manager) would get over it and start asking the real questions, footballing questions from a footballer. It's great to be a good guy but he's not Bob Geldof, he's a footballer and would be assessed by the fans based on his footballing abilities.
 
We forget that there are 24 hrs in every day and they spend only about 4 of them around the club. That’s a lot of time to be an good off-field pro.

It’d be brilliant to hear what Pep REALLY thinks about every player in the squad, but we never will. Given that, we simply have to believe that Jack isn’t 100% fit or is not doing the business in training or is not coming prepared for the work needed.

Regardless, it’s clear Pep isn’t picking him for some reason and we have to accept he knows far more than any of us.

If you support players who play for Manchester City, this thread will never be one that is easy to understand. He hasn't played recently, but still comes in for condemnation or stats posts highlighted that do just that.

It has always been a factor within our fanbase, from FFS Mahrez, to Plodri, Raheem, Edgy, Boo Bowyer, and so on. Often undeserved, and utterly dull. Opinions and constructive criticism are part of the purpose of an internet forum. Relentless negative targeting is not for me.

I hope that Jack Grealish returns to full health and form and stays as part of the decade's most successful team. Should he move on, I would offer my best wishes for the future. The hate here, and that is what it is, saddens me.

The most damning thing when he does left in future, some people in here will said good riddance ignoring all the good contribution he have for us.

Jack looks like he’s lost the hunger after winning the treble. Peps trying to reignite that hunger but it’s not working.

Now Jacks problem is you have a trophy hungry Brazilian in Savinho that has stepped up and made that position his. Savinho has just improved more over time this season. He’s young , hungry for trophies and has dreamed of playing for City, he’s only going to improve more
