He'd give away too many corners .Pep could try him out as a full-back, you never know

He would be nowhere near the squad if it was true.Where does all this talk come from that he's some massive boozer?
Sure he had a good scoop celebrating some trophies, but it's not like he's seen falling out of clubs on the lash every week. If he was, you'd certainly know about it in this day and age.
Of course he could be drinking at home. I just think you in today's world if he was this huge piss head half of this forum think, there would be a lot more evidence than just getting smashed during some trophy parades.
I think that all we can confidently say is that when he drinks, there's evidence he can go a bit wild with it and not stop at the point most sensible people would.Where does all this talk come from that he's some massive boozer?

Why would Pep tolerate it?
He would have a mystery injury to cover it up like others have in the past and be gone for several months
This is true. I can’t remember the player but whoever it was eluded to the fact that Silva, when on the grog, wouldn’t stop.David Silva was a piss head but it wasn’t really talked about as it didn’t fit the English lad caricature.
Think we owe Grealish the benefit of the doubt, if he was out several times a week getting mashed in bars it would all over the internet. Some would sell snide videos to the daily mail before he’s even finished his 3am kebab.
Micah on his podcast with Lineker and Shearer. Told a story about them in the USA.This is true. I can’t remember the player but whoever it was eluded to the fact that Silva, when on the grog, wouldn’t stop.

Reading this endless thread....Jack can't score a goal because..
His mentally unable after being too pissed too often
His house got robbed and he's still dealing with that
He had a baby and had to travel to London hospital for the birth
He's been fouled too much and it's taking it's toll
He loses confidence when criticized and needs love for motivation
Kickings he got at Villa are catching up
And now.....He gave too much of himself during the treble and has been burnt out ever since.
In my mind all this daft speculation is pointless, Jack has been shit for the last two and a half years and needs to move on... he just doesn't fit in our team, he's a player that doesn't suit Pep's style of football and clearly isn't putting in the effort at training (Pep's words).
I have no idea why we paid all that money for him. But at the end of the day, I guess that is not his fault.
Everything but the fact that he's a championship level footballer
now he either starts getting end product or Pep will phase him out of City. time to deliver and quick he needs to save his City career and if its mostly spent with some more injuries and sitting on the bench we cannot have that much longer. still bothers me we didnt get too much out of him given his price and salary. about 6 months of great performance in the treble year with another 6 months good-ish but those were here and there bits and pieces rest were not very good or mediocre and it has been kind of a dropping from lately with not scoring at all in 2024.
new players coming in has to wake Grealish up and be up for a fight for his place and deliver performances to keep him in the side and in first eleven or else he wont start many games.
Either way, this thread is a fucking embarrassment.
Maybe, maybe not.. but footy at the top is cut throat and all about what have you done for me lately?
Personally I think Grealish is done as anyone I've seen Pep publicly criticize has never come back into the team.. be it Zlatan, Yaya, Kalvin, Cancelo etc.
You might call me cold but I'm just seeing things in perspective since it broke my heart what I saw happen with Kun.. he had 3 20 goal seasons in a row under Pep and then his knee meniscus happened. While he clearly wanted to stay.. the club had to let him go.
I still love Kun though and remember the good times!
Where are you getting 272 pages of bile?Additionally, Grealish has started 2 Premier League defeats this season, including Villa where he was one of the better players - I don't think that merits 272 pages of bile to be directed at him.
How does it devalue city's achievements?I think it's perfectly valid to separate this season's performances from previous seasons and it's legitimate to constructively criticize.
However, for so called City fans to slate him for his first 3 seasons where the team won 3 Premier Leagues, 1 Champions League, 1 FA Cup, 1 UEFA Super Cup and 1 FIFA Club World Cup is bang out of order and it also devalues City's achievements, if they are effectively saying these trophies were won with 10 men

A lof these pages have been complimentary.
The most recent pages are negative because he has been a no show this season.
Whether he's been injured, unavailable or whatever, our current team needs a peak Grealish and Pep just doesn't see it.
There is no way a young upstart like Savinho should be challenging Jack, never mind getting ahead of him in the pecking order.
It devalues City's achievements to suggest what was won could had been done with 10 players - it diminishes the difficulty of beating Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Inter Milan for instance. How does it devalue city's achievements?
Anyone who thinks that Grealish wasn't great in those seasons must assume the other players carried him. If anything they think winning those trophies with 10 men shows how incredible the other players were
