The inverted winger role suits Jack, Kev, Foden and Marmoush clearly, having the fullbacks wide.

Now this may be why Pep didnt play Doku and Savinho, but I think those two could thrive in this system as well.

He's been much better than Foden on the rare occasions he's gotten a chance, It's baffling that Pep has barely given him a minute in the last couple of months, I don't buy the attitude excuse, his attitude has never been a problem on the pitch, I've seen Foden sulk several times this season though.

His shots typically get blocked and I think it’s in his head but he created enough openings today to at least try once.

Iv not seen Jack have a bad game for city if I’m honest. There has been many games he has not done enough, but he always keeps possession and rarely loses it.
You don’t see him have a stinker like many of our other midfielders have had this season.

Excellent today. Made loads of space and should’ve had a few pops with the space he alone created. If he’d have been playing week in week out he’d probably have bagged two today. Deserves to start next game.

Probably not had too many out and out "bad" performances. But a lot of underwhelming ones, if we're being honest. But his experience was invaluable in a scenario like today's, where we needed to lock the game up. He was very good in his cameo this afternoon.

Problem is with that transfer fee it's not enough just to keep possession, and his scoring record has been abysmal, but he definitely doesn't deserve to just sit on the bench and not get any minutes recently, that was inexplicable considering some the stinkers we see from other players every week.

Looked classy and composed. Strong, and made very intelligent runs and passes. Might make bad choices off the pitch but I think he makes very clever ones in it.

I liked Gundo today, but fully agree re Foden. Jack deffo deserves a chance to start Wednesday I think.
