Nice observation.Bournemouth started to attack O'Reilly a bit more and pin him back, the Grealish sub completely killed that tactic and we totally regained control of the left-side. Played Grealish and top stuff from Pep.

He's just not being given anywhere near the level of game time this season, because of something behind-the-scenes. If he was given the chances to "do it a lot more often" then he would, but he can't pick himself can he?
Hes shooting is horrible. Has absolutely no power. G/A matter, and unless you have 2 or 3 other attacking players in the starting XI that contribute to around 80 goals a season (inc g/a) it’s difficult to get win big trophies. Think Jack will only get selected as a wide player.Look at how beautifully Grealish controlled the ball at 93:01 of the match. Jack has amazing technique, and today he created some great chances. I still hope there’s a light at the end of the tunnel with Jack playing well for City.
Maybe so, but my guess its not like Pep is stopping anybody. Jack has fired dozens of shots and we all seen the problem - they are blocked so so often. Its just a matter of quality and Jack - as much as I love him - has relatively slow shot. He has never had incredible numbers bar one season at Villa. His job is link up play, holding the ball, mainaining control that way, sometimes winning a foul etc. Those are Jack's strenghts. Hope hes gonna add numbers, but its not likely. But I always states that Jack without numbers is still great player and we need himThink Jack will only get selected as a wide player.
Agree, his ball control & technique is excellent.
But, he seems to be stifled and stopped by Pep, on attacking the full backs and firing in a quick cross, or even taking a shot.
So, a quick full back like Nico is essential.
Move Josko into LCB, giving Jack & Nico a chance to attack and exploit the left...
