10 | Rayan Cherki - 2025/26

He is so obviously a creative genius.

All we really need to for him to get up to the pace of the games in the premier league which is the most demanding.

It'll take him some time to get use to it.
He’s already doing decent. Getting involved with goals a fair bit. With the right structures he’ll be one of the best in the league.

Needs a good run in the team and really find his place and make it his own. He’s clearly good enough
Where’s his usual position going to be?

Will he replace Bernardo long term and be the secondary 8/nominally wide right forward?

Haaland

Doku Foden Cherki

Nico Rodri

Love him. He is a difference maker but still puts in the effort. Once he gets used to the heater skelter speed of the league he will be immense. We might not see that this season but when we do we will all be in awe

Actually think Peps doing the right thing. Building up his sharpness slowly and bringing him on in situations where he's given responsibility to create. We'll see the benefit of this later.

Its interesting Peps chosen this route with Cherki as its normally give you 5 starts no matter how shit you play then ride the bench for a month with a lot of our new signings lol.

It is impossible not to recognise the gifts this guy has.
I suspect that the club are playing it cagey to avoid the immense pressure that such players can have applied to them. Foden's goal to win Saturday's match would not have happened without Cherki's unerring ability to find the player in space, and to be able to do that because the defender cannot get too close, not knowing which way Cherki will go.

Him and Phil together could be really special, it's great to see them immediately look to combine with each other rather than see each other as competition like what happens when Foden plays for England.

if you had rodri nico g behind them 2 and add doku on the left that's some midfield and attack

The only player who was not panicking , looked a class apart while he was on the pitch
