I think it was QPR v Chelsea which was the game when John Terry racially abused Anton Ferdinand.

I've waited till today to post. We really were starting to pile on the misery for them by this stage. The season before saw us beat them in the fa cup semi and saw half the team have a meltdown when Mario winked at Wio. We then went on to win it and I remember literally half an hour after we won it a group of their fans laid siege to the club shop on market Street singing their nursery rhymes and hurling abuse at the staff and customers (anyone remember that?).

I remember for years one of my rag neighbours had engaged me in jolly banter for years which he found hilarious. The 4-3 Michael Owen injury time defeat and the 8 nil (I think) defeat to Middlesbrough had him banging on my window shouting all sorts of witty japery which I took steadfastly. Straight after the sick Swan I knocked on his front window to give it back, he came to the front door and said "you've won a football match, well done, but your acting like a **** doing this and your just being small time", then slammed his door shut. Ha ha.
