He's had a superb season but he saved his poorest performance for this final , at fault for the goal and gave the ball away far too much , but he wasnt alone , the whole side under performed and we never really looked like troubling their keeper.

his link up with Foden has been excellent all season. Playing Sterling forced Foden to play out of position and it showed
I'm very reluctant to analyse any of the game because of the piss poor tactics hampering the entire side making it impossible for anybody to perform but what was noticeable was zinchenko's reluctance to open his body up and play first time 90 degree balls from dias down the line to sterling as he has been doing all season with Foden. I can only assume its because he knows sterling can't take those balls in tight situations and play out from them, partly because of his shit touch and partly because hes right footed and can't use his left whereas foden can do that all day.

Personally don't blame Zinny for the goal- that area would usually have been filled by Rodri or Ferna, he's used to it and the change threw him off, that's all.

He could have covered Havertz after taking it round Ederson, he was slow and he stopped but that’s because he isn’t a defender and doesn’t have that defensive instinct.

Someone like Walker and Stones who we have seen do it before would have had the foresight to think Havertz could take it round Ederson and get into a position to block or close down the space.
