Did well down the left and passed the ball forward more than usual.Worked well with Phil who supported him ably.
Bernardo and Cancelo on the right complemented each other as well.

Started one game in the league and came on as sub in another
Played 102 minutes so far in the league
3rd in the pecking order after Cancelo ( 990 minutes) & Mendy ( 506 minutes )
And in spite of all of that, he was outstanding last night.

Probably knackered at the end , hardly match fit and didnt john go walkabout ?Cost us a clean sheet, but played a big role in the first 2 goals so hard to complain.

He’s got to be our first choice LB. yeah he’s slow and can’t defend to good but we have miles better possession and he’s link up with Ilkay and Phil is class

Great accuracy. A Pep midfielder on LB to play our game.
Nice pacy 1-2s as well. Always has the next pass in his mind.
If he develops more confidence to create attacks he could have a bright future. Has one of the best ball touch in our squad.

Zinchenko does offer a lot going forward and id keep him around.

Three really good games , and played agaisnt the likes of Mount and Rashford and did fine , wouldnt dream of selling him for a paltry £20m , he might not be first choice with everyone fit but i would sell Mendy before i considered letting Zinchenko leave.

I agree mate he should be 1st choice from the options we have available until we get natural LB. He has been really good for us so far in the games he has played this season. He is very comfortable with the ball at his feet. A few times this evening I was thinking if mendy was on the pitch rather than zinny in a few moments in particular, when we were playing out from the back and utd were pressing us high up the pitch, we would of been in a bad situation.He should be the 1st choice LB for you guys

He's not ideal at LB but considering the other option in Mendy, I think it's a clear choice
He links up incredibly well and when you have so many good players on the ball in rhythm like that, you can create numerical advantages even without blazing speed - no one is faster than the ball as Pep/Cruyff would say
Happy to see City turn a corner here, they are in good form with reinforcements on the way
