He can't pass to save his life. We can't play the Eddy system with him in there. I'm sorry. He seems a very capable shot stopper. But he is not a passer.

Frankly he is probably worse than Joe. So it's a little baffling that we are try to force him to play like Eddy.

I agree,very few teams have 2 keepers of such quality.

Of course,he doesnt have Ederson type foot drills,but as for his actual goalkeeping,i think he's at least on par,and maybe better.

19 months difference...when Eddie was Steffan's age he was on his way to his second league title for City.

Looks a good keeper to me from what little I've seen so far. Certainly able to provide back up to Eddie and I feel more confident with Zack in goal than I did with Bravo and Caballero.

It's not fair to criticise him for not being Eddie's level, we can't expect to have someone as good as that on the bench all the time. I think in Steffen we have one of the best back ups in the league.

Couldn’t agree more, you’re never going to get someone as good as Ederson to sit on the bench and Steffen is a good enough back up. Don’t see the issue
